Abstract

Penelitian tindakan kelas ini dilakukan untuk meningkatkan kemampuan berpikir kritis pada mata pelajaran IPA melalui model pembelajaran Project Based Learning pada siswa kelas V. Penelitian tindakan kelas ini dilaksanakan di SDN Ciracas 11 Pagi Jakarta Timur. Subjek dari penelitian ini adalah siswa V-B yang berjumlah 31 orang siswa. Model penelitian tindakan kelas yang digunakan pada penelitian ini adalah model Kemmis dan Mc. Taggart. Data kemampuan berpikir kritis muatan IPA pada siklus I mencapai 58%, kemudian pada siklus II mengalami peningkatan 77%, dan pada siklus III terjadi peningkatan sebesar 90%. Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini adalah penerapan model pembelajaran Project Based Learning pada pembelajaran IPA dapat meningkatkan kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa kelas V-B SDN Ciracas 11 Pagi Jakarta Timur sehingga guru dapat menggunakan model pembelajaran Project Based Learning sebagai salah satu alternatif untuk meningkatkan kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa dalam pembelajaran IPA. ***** This classroom action research was carried out to improve critical thinking skills in science subjects through the Project Based Learning learning model for class V students. This classroom action research was carried out at SDN Ciracas 11 Pagi, East Jakarta. The subjects of this research were 31 V-B students. The classroom action research model used in this research is the Kemmis and Mc model. Taggart. Data on critical thinking ability for science content in cycle I reached 58%, then in cycle II there was an increase of 77%, and in cycle III there was an increase of 90%. The conclusion of this research is that the application of the Project Based Learning learning model in science learning can improve the critical thinking skills of class V-B students at SDN Ciracas 11 Pagi, East Jakarta so that teachers can use the Project Based Learning learning model as an alternative for improving students' critical thinking skills in science learning.
