Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh implementasi model pembelajaran ASSURE terhadap hasil belajar IPS kelas IV Sekolah Dasar. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif eksperimen dengan model penelitian two-group post-test only design. Sampel pada penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas IV di SDN Utan Kayu Selatan 01, Kelurahan Utan Kayu Selatan, Kecamatan Matraman, Jakarta Timur. Pengambilan sampel menggunakan teknik Simple Random Sampling (Sampel Acak Sederhana) dari populasi yang ditetapkan yaitu SD Negeri di Kelurahan Utan Kayu Selatan. Terdapat dua rombongan belajar, terpilih kelas IV-D sebagai kelas eksperimen dan kelas IV-A sebagai kelas kontrol. Kelas eksperimen menggunakan model pembelajaran ASSURE dan kelas kontrol menggunakan model konvensional. Pengumpulan data dilakukan menggunakan instrumen tes berupa 30 soal pilihan ganda yang telah diuji validitas dan reliabilitasnya. Instrumen tersebut juga diuji normalitas dan homogenitas dengan uji persyaratan data. Selanjutnya dilakukan analisis hipotesis menggunakan uji-t dengan taraf signifikansi a = 0,05, didapat bahwa nilai thitung = 3,51 lebih sama dengan ttabel = 1,708. Artinya bahwa hipotesis nol (H0) ditolak dan hipotesis kerja (H1) diterima, yang berarti bahwa terdapat pengaruh dari model pembelajaran ASSURE terhadap hasil belajar IPS kelas IV SDN Utan Kayu Selatan 01 pada Materi Indonesiaku Kaya Budaya. Oleh karena itu, guru perlu memilih model pembeelajaran yang tepat untuk dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar IPS pada siswa. ***** This study aims to determine the effect of the implementation of ASSURE learning design on the learning outcomes of grade IV social studies in elementary schools. This study used quantitative experimental methods with a two-group post-test only design. The sample in this study was as straight as grade IV students at Utan Kayu Selatan State Elementary School, Utan Kayu Selatan Village, Matraman District, East Jakarta. Sampling using Simple Random Sampling technique from the established population, namely State Elementary School in Utan Kayu Selatan subdistrict. There were two study groups, selected class IV-D as the experimental class and class IV-A as the control class. The experimental class uses the ASSURE learning design and the control class uses the conventional model. Data collection was carried out using 30 test instruments in the form of multiple-choice questions that had been tested for validity and reliability. The instrument is also tested for normality and homogeneity with data requirements test. Furthermore, a hypothesis analysis was carried out using a t-test with a significance level of a = 0.05, it was found that the calculated value = 3.51 more than equal to ttable = 1.708. This means that the null hypothesis (H0) is rejected and the working hypothesis (H1) is accepted, which means that there is an influence of the ASSURE learning model on the learning outcomes of grade IV social studies of Utan Kayu Selatan 01 State Elementary School on My Cultural Rich Indonesian Material. Therefore, teachers need to choose the right learning model to be able to improve social studies learning outcomes in students.
