Abstract

****ABSTRAK**** Muhammad Rafli Tsalas. Satire dalam Channel Majelis Lucu Indonesia Konten SJW NEWS Model Norman Fairclough. Skripsi. Jakarta: Fakultas Bahasa dan Seni Universitas Negeri Jakarta. Desember 2023 Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan tujuan mengetahui jenis satire yang digunakan dalam channel Majelis Indonesia di salah satu kontennya berjudul SJW NEWS berdasarkan penjelasan satire dari Abrams. Rentang waktu penelitian ini dari bulan April hingga Desember 2023. Data yang digunakan berupa video dari konten SJW NEWS berdurasi 22:28 menit. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah Analisis Wacana Kritis model Norman Fairclough. Instrumen penelitian yang digunakan adalah peneliti, gawai, sambungan internet dan YouTube sebagai cara untuk mengumpulkan data yang dibutuhkan. Abrams mengemukakan lima jenis satire yaitu, parodi, ironi, alegori dan humor. Dari Hasil penelitian ini ditemukan 8 satire berjenis parodi, 7 satire berjenis ironi, 2 satire berjenis alegori dan 6 satire berjenis humor. Ditemukan juga pada dimensi teks kebanyakan satire yang digunakan menggunakan diksi-diksi yang berkaitan dengan gen z dan tidak baku. Dimensi praktik wacana yang membahas bahwa latar belakang Oza Rangkuti sebagai produser teks berpengaruh terhadap penggunaan satire karena sebelumnya ia sudah memiliki konten dengan tema serupa. Dimensi praktik sosiokultur yang membahas bagaimana konten yang menggunakan satire menjadi salah satu konten yang banyak dikonsumsi masyarakat dan sesuai dengan idealisme MLI yang ingin menciptakan komedi tepi jurang. This research was conducted with the aim of finding out the type of satire used on the Indonesian Assembly channel in one of its contents entitled SJW NEWS based on Abrams' explanation of the satire. The time span of this research is from April to December 2023. The data used is a video from SJW NEWS content with a duration of 22:28 minutes. The research method used is Norman Fairclough's Critical Discourse Analysis model. The research instruments used were researchers, gadgets, internet connections and YouTube as a way to collect the required data. Abrams proposed five types of satire, namely, parody, irony, allegory and humor. From the results of this research, it was found that 8 satires were of the parody type, 7 satires were of the irony type, 2 satires were of the allegory type and 6 satires were of the humor type. It was also found that in the text dimension, most of the satire used used diction related to Gen Z and was not standard. The discourse practice dimension discusses that Oza Rangkuti's background as a text producer influences his use of satire because he previously had content with a similar theme. The dimension of sociocultural practice which discusses how content that uses satire is one of the contents that is widely consumed by the public and is in accordance with MLI's idealism which wants to create comedy on the edge of the cliff.
