Abstract

*******ABSTRAK***** Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan jenis-jenis budaya pola asuh orang tua Prancis pada anak remaja dalam film Adorables karya Solange Cicurel. Kategori jenis pola asuh pada penelitian ini mengacu pada pola asuh yang berlandaskan tiga jenis, yaitu pengasuhan otoriter (authoritarian parenting), pola pengasuhan demokratis (authoritative parenting), dan pola pengasuhan permisif (permissive indulgent), menurut teori Degn (2018). Adapun jenis pendekatan yang digunakan pada penelitian ini adalah pendekatan kualitatif menggunakan metode analisis isi atau content analysis dengan sumber data berupa film Adorables karya Solange Cicurel. Data penilitian berupa kata, frasa, dan kalimat dalam film Adorables. Teknik pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan teknik dokumenter. Temuan jenis pola asuh dalam film Adorables karya Solange Cicurel adalah total 33 kutipan yang mengandung tiga jenis dari ketiga jenis pola asuh menurut teori Degn. Film Adorables ini didominasi dengan jenis pola asuh demokratis sebanyak 24 kutipan. Selanjutnya, pola asuh otoriter sebanyak 8 kutipan, dan pola asuh permisif sebanyak 1 kutipan. *****ABSTRACT****** This research aims to describe the cultural types of parenting styles of French parent towards teenagers in the film Adorables by Solange Cicurel. The category of parenting styles in this research refers to parenting styles that are based on three types, namely authoritarian parenting, democratic parenting, and permissive indulgent parenting, according to Degn's theory (2018). The type of approach used in this research is a qualitative approach using a content analysis method with the data source being the film Adorables by Solange Cicurel. The research data is in the form of words, phrases and sentences in the film Adorables. The data collection technique in this research uses documentary techniques. The finding of types of parenting patterns in the film Adorables by Solange Cicurel is a total of 33 quotes containing three types of parenting patterns according to Degn's theory. The film Adorables is dominated by the democratic parenting style with 24 quotes. Furthermore, authoritarian parenting has 8 quotes, and permissive parenting has 1 quote.
