Abstract

********ABSTRAK***** Keberhasilan peserta didik didukung oleh peran pendidik yang mampu mendidiknya dengan baik, sehingga mampu memicu keaktifan dan kreativitas peserta didiknya. Penggunaan model pembelajaran dan media berkarya yang sesuai serta menarik bagi peserta didik, akan berdampak pada kualitas hasil belajarnya. Selain itu, ketersediaan limbah kayu yang belum optimal dimanfaatkan juga dapat memberikan peluang bagi pendidik untuk mengaitkannya ke dalam pembelajaran. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan kreativitas dan keterampilan peserta didik kelas XII SMKN 58 Jakarta dalam pembelajaran seni lukis ekspresif pada media limbah kayu menggunakan model Project Based Learning, menganalisis hasil belajar seni lukis ekspresif pada media limbah kayu menggunakan model Project Based Learning di kelas XII SMKN 58 Jakarta, dan menganalisis hasil karya seni lukis ekspresif pada media limbah kayu kelas XII SMKN 58 Jakarta menggunakan model Project Based Learning. Metode penelitian ini menggunakan deskriptif kualitatif dengan partisipan sejumlah 23 peserta didik. Data dikumpulkan melalui observasi, wawancara, kuesioner, dokumentasi, dan studi kepustakaan. Analisis dan penilaian hasil karya peserta didik mengacu pada tabel modifikasi Brent G. Wilson. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa pembelajaran seni lukis ekspresif pada media limbah kayu dengan menerapkan model Project Based Learning dapat memberikan variasi nilai dengan perkembangan yang positif. Penerapan model ini membuktikan peserta didik lebih aktif, kreatif, dan dapat menciptakan hasil karya dengan kualitas yang lebih baik. Selain itu, pemanfaatan limbah kayu menjadi media berkarya seni lukis ekspresif dapat diterapkan menjadi media yang inovatif dan menarik kepada peserta didik dalam pembelajaran seni lukis ekspresif. The use of learning models and work media that are appropriate and interesting for students will have an impact on the quality of learning outcomes. In addition, the availability of wood waste that has not been optimally utilized can also provide opportunities for educators to relate it to learning. This study aims to develop the creativity and skills of class XII students of SMKN 58 Jakarta in learning expressive painting on wood waste media using the Project Based Learning model, analyzing the learning outcomes of expressive painting on wood waste media using the Project Based Learning model in class XII SMKN 58 Jakarta, and analyze expressive painting works on class XII wood waste media SMKN 58 Jakarta using the Project Based Learning model. This research method uses qualitative descriptive with the participation of 23 students. Data were collected through observation, interviews, questionnaires, documentation, and literature studies. Analysis and assessment of the work of students refers to the modified table of Brent G. Wilson. The results of this study show that learning expressive painting on wood waste media by applying the Project Based Learning model can provide value variations with positive development. The application of this model proves that students are more active, creative, and can create works of better quality. In addition, the use of wood waste into a medium for creating expressive painting can be applied to be an innovative and interesting medium for students in learning expressive painting.
