Abstract

******ABSTRAK***** Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memperoleh pemahaman terkait gastronomi sastra dalam novel Une Gourmandise karya Muriel Barbery. Adapun sumber utama untuk mengetahui adanya gastronomi sastra berlandaskan kepada empat karakteristik gastronomi sastra oleh Karin Becker. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif yang diikuti pemaparan deskriptif dan menggunakan metode analisis isi dalam mengidentifikasi data yang diteliti. Analisis data pada sumber diawali dengan pemaparan setiap unsur intrinsik novel yang terdiri dari alur, penokohan, dan latar. Kemudian analisis dilanjutkan dengan mengidentifikasi dan menginterpretasikan temuan-temuan berupa kata, frasa, kalimat, makna, dan konteks pada novel tersebut yang mengindikasikan adanya karakteristik gastronomi sastra. Hasil penelitian yang dilakukan menunjukkan bahwa terdapat 55 data temuan dalam novel Une Gourmandise karya Muriel Barbery yang mengindikasikan karakteristik gastronomi sastra. Dari jumlah data tersebut, 17 di antaranya merupakan plaisir des sens yang terdiri dari 8 kutipan le processus de mémorisation des aliments/ expérience dan 9 kutipan le processus de création de souvenirs, 16 di antaranya merupakan manifestation de la culture et de l'identité, 15 di antaranya merupakan valorisation de la nourriture, 7 di antaranya merupakan exploration des aspects sociaux et moraux de l'alimentation. Berdasarkan penelitian yang telah dilakukan dapat disimpulkan bahwa novel Une Gourmandise mengandung gastronomi sastra, dengan pengalaman tokoh utama sebagai kritikus gastronomi menunjukkan lebih banyak karakteristik gastronomi plaisir des sens. Kata Kunci: Gastronomi, Gastronomi Sastra, Novel ****ABSTRACT***** This study aims to gain an understanding of literary gastronomy in the novel Une Gourmandise by Muriel Barbery. The main source to determine the existence of literary gastronomy is based on the four characteristics of literary gastronomy by Karin Becker. This research uses a qualitative approach followed by descriptive explanation and uses the content analysis method in identifying the data under study. Data analysis on the source began with the description of each intrinsic intrinsic element of the novel consisting of plot, characterization, and setting. Then the analysis continued by identifying and interpreting the findings in the form of words, phrases, sentences, meanings, and contexts in the novel that indicate the characteristics of literary gastronomy. The results of the research conducted show that there are 55 data found in the novel Une Gourmandise by Muriel barbery that indicate the characteristics of literary gastronomy. Of these data, 17 of them are plaisir des sens consisting of 8 quotations of le processus de mémorisation des aliments/ expérience and 9 quotations of le processus de création de souvenirs, 16 of them are manifestation de la culture et de l'identité, 15 of them are valorisation de la nourriture, 7 of them are exploration des aspects sociaux et moraux de l'alimentation. Based on the research that has been done, it can be concluded that the novel Une Gourmandise contains gastronomic literature, with the main character's experience as a gastronomic critic shows more characteristics of gastronomic plaisir des sens.
