Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk menganalisis pembelajaran guru sejarah dalam memanfaatkan Museum Negeri Balaputra Dewa sebagai sumber belajar sejarah. Metode penelitian yang digunakan studi kasus dengan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif analisis, yang meliputi kondensasi data, penyajian data, dan kesimpulan dari hasil analisis data yang diperkuat melalui verifikasi lebih lanjut. Data penelitian ini diperoleh melalui informan inti dan informan kunci. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa Museum Negeri Balaputra Dewa sebagai sumber belajar sejarah telah dimanfaatkan oleh guru sejarah, teknik pemanfaatan museum dengan cara mengajak peserta didik berkunjung secara langsung melalui karya wisata. Setelah berkunjung ke museum peserta didik dapat lebih mudah memahami materi sejarah sebab media pembelajaran yang digunakan dapat mempermudah pemahaman belajar. Merujuk pada teori kerucut Edgar Dale menyatakan apabila peserta didik diajak belajar melihat langsung objek yang diteliti, maka pengalaman belajar dapat diperoleh lebih banyak dibandingkan belajar hanya secara abstrak. Pembelajaran berkunjung ke museum menjadi lebih efektif, karena museum sangat berkaitan erat dengan materi yang disampaikan oleh guru sejarah. Fokus materi yang dikembangkan oleh guru sejarah mengenai asal-usul nenek moyang dan jalur rempah di Indonesia. Kaitannya dengan koleksi Museum Negeri Balaputra Dewa terletak pada zaman prasejarah sampai pra-Sriwijaya. Tugas yang diberikan kepada peserta didik belajar ke museum dengan cara dibagi kelompok sesuai dengan jumlah peserta didik, kemudian guru sejarah membuat arahan belajar berdasarkan pedoman dan Lembar Kerja Peserta Didik (LKPD). Mengenai materi sejarah yang telah disampaikan oleh guru sejarah, peserta didik merasa lebih mudah memahami karena penyajian museum lebih komunikatif. Respon dari peserta didik sangat antusias belajar ke museum sebab mereka tidak tertekan dan belajar lebih merdeka. Melalui belajar dari Museum Negeri Balaputra Dewa, peserta didik dapat memperkaya ilmu pengetahuan, wawasan kebangsaan, jati diri, dan menjunjung rasa nasionalisme. ********** This research aims to analyze history teachers learning in using the Museum of State Balaputra Dewa as a source of history learning. The research method used case study with a qualitative descriptive analysis approach, which includes data condensation, data presentation, and conclusions from the results of data analysis which are strengthened through further verification. This research data was obtained through core informants and key informants. The results of this research show that the Museum of State Balaputra Dewa as a source of historical learning has been utilized by history teachers, the technique of using the museum is by inviting students to visit directly through field trips. After visited the museum, students can more easily understand historical material because the learning media used can make learning easier. Referring to Edgar Dale's cone theory, it states that if students are invited to learn to directly see the object being studied, they can gain more learning experience than learning only abstractly. Learning to visit museums becomes more effective because museums are closely related to the material presented by history teachers. The focus of the material developed by history teachers is on the origins of ancestors and the spice route in Indonesia. The connection with the Museum of State Balaputra Dewa collection lies in the prehistoric to pre-Srivijaya era. The task given to students is to study at the museum by dividing them into groups according to the number of students, and then the history teacher makes learning directions based on guidelines and Student Worksheets (LKPD). Regarding the historical material presented by the history teacher, students find it easier to understand because the museum presentation is more communicative. The response from students was very enthusiastic about studying at the museum because they were not pressured and learned more freely. Through learning from the Museum of State Balaputra Dewa, students can enrich their knowledge, national insight, and identity and uphold a sense of nationalism.
