Abstract

ABSTRAK Dalam konteks keterkaitan antara komunikasi dengan Sekolah Anak Jalanan memiliki proses pola komunikasi yang tidak hanya terbentuk dari komunikasi antara orang tua dengan anak. Namun juga terdapat komunikasi antara anak dengan tutor di sekolah. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui jenis pola komunikasi apa yang diterapkanan oleh tutor dengan anak jalanan di Sekolah Alternatif Anak Jalanan serta hambatan apa yang dihadapi dalam penerapannya. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode deskriptif. Teknik pengumpulan data pada penelitian ini melalui wawancara mendalam, observasi dan dokumentasi. Teknik pemilihan informan yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah sampel bertujuan (purposive sampling) dengan subjek utama penelitiannya adalah Yayasan Sekolah Alternatif Anak Jalanan yang meliputi Tutor ibu Nunung dan ibu Iin berserta anak jalanan SAAJA, beserta key-informant yang merupakan faktor pendukung dari hasil penelitian. Sumber data dalam penelitian ini adalah data primer dan data skunder. Analisis data penelitian ini terdiri dari tiga tahapan yakni reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. keabsahan data penulis menggunakan triangulasi sumber dan triangulasi teknik. Hasil penelitian ini diketahui bahwa pola komunikasi yang digunakan tutor terhadap anak jalanan di Yayasan Sekolah Alternatif Anak Jalanan adalah pola roda dan pola bintang dengan menggunakan bentuk komunikasi antarpribadi dan kelompok. Pola komunikasi yang diterpakan cukup efektif digunakan dalam proses mengajar yang diberikan tutor terhadap anak jalanan SAAJA. Hal ini terlihat dari adanya komunikasi yang terjadi secara dua arah atau sebaliknya. Faktor penghambat yang dihadapi oleh SAAJA adalah dari segi tenaga pengajar dan lingkungan eksternal anak jalanan. Kesimpulannya terdapat feedback positif dan dalam komunikasi sehari-hari pada anak jalanan selama proses pembelajaran, Pola komuniksi terjalin dengan baik antra tutor dan anak jalanan di SAAJA Kata Kunci: Pola Komunikasi, Tutor, Anak Jalanan, Sekolah Alternatif Anak Jalanan ABSTRACT In the context of the relationship between communication and the Street Children's School, the process of communication patterns is not only formed from communication between parents and children. But there is also communication between children and tutors at school. This research aims to find out what types of communication patterns are applied by tutors with street children at the Street Children's Alternative School and what obstacles are faced in its application. This research uses a qualitative approach with descriptive methods. Data collection techniques in this study through in-depth interviews, observation and documentation. The informant selection technique used in this research is purposive sampling with the main subject of research being the Street Children's Alternative School Foundation which includes Tutor Mrs. Nunung and Mrs. Iin along with SAAJA street children, along with key-informants who are supporting factors of the research results. The data sources in this study are primary data and secondary data. This research data analysis consists of three stages, namely data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. the author's data validity uses source triangulation and technique triangulation. The results of this study found that the communication patterns used by tutors for street children at the Street Children's Alternative School Foundation are wheel patterns and star patterns using interpersonal and group communication forms. The communication patterns that are applied are quite effective in the teaching process given by tutors to SAAJA street children. This can be seen from the communication that occurs in two directions or vice versa. The inhibiting factors faced by SAAJA are in terms of teaching staff and the external environment of street children. In conclusion, there is positive feedback and in daily communication on street children during the learning process, the pattern of communication is well established between tutors and street children in SAAJA.
