Abstract

Penelitian bertujuan untuk menganalisis partisipasi Masyarakat dalam melestarikan Kesenian Lenong. Penelitian ini menggunakan kualitatif deskriptif pendekatan studi kasus yang dilengkapi dengan observasi, studi literatur, dan wawancara. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan dalam penelitian adalah reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan, kemudian diuji keabsahan data melalui triangulasi data. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa perkembangan Kesenian Lenong selama ini mengalami masa naik turun, maksudnya adalah Kesenian Lenong mengalami masa kejayaan dan masa penurunan. Hal ini dikarenakan masih banyaknya Masyarakat yang tidak ikutserta dalam memperhatikan perkembangan Kesenian Lenong. Hanya Masyarakat yang memang memiliki jiwa atau darah seni yang telah diajarkan dari keluarga secara turun-temurun, dan juga Masyarakat yang memiliki minat terhadap kesenian. Hal ini juga dipengaruhi oleh Pemerintah Provinsi DKI Jakarta lebih tepatnya Dinas Kebudayaan yang harus lebih memperhatikan Kesenian Lenong, dengan cara membantu sanggar-sanggar agar tetap bertahan dan juga Pemerintah Provinsi DKI Jakarta harus lebih sering mengadakan pertunjukan di wilayah-wilayah yang ada di Jakarta agar Masyarakat yang dapat memberikan pengetahuan mengenai Lenong terhadap Masyarakat setempat. Perbandingan antara sejarah Kesenian Lenong maupun partisipasi Masyarakat dalam melestarikan Kesenian Lenong sangat signifikan, hal ini dikarekan wilayah Setu Babakan di awasi oleh unit pengelola dari Dinas Kebudayaan sedangkan untuk wilayah Padepokan Ciliwung Condet dimiliki oleh sebuah komunitas Betawi. sehingga Masyarakat yang ada di wilayah Setu Babakan kurang berperan aktif berdasarkan informan dalam hal perencanaan dan dalam hal pelaksanaan Masyarakat hanya berperan untuk mempromosikan acara pertunjukan Kesenian Lenong, sedangkan Masyarakat yang ada di wilayah Padepokan Ciliwung Condet sangat berperan aktif dalam hal perencanaan maupun pelaksanaan pada acara pertunjukan Kesenian Lenong. ***** The study aims to analyze the participation of the community in preserving Lenong Arts. This study uses a qualitative descriptive case study approach complemented by observation, literature study, and interviews. The data analysis techniques used in the study are data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawn, then the validity of the data is tested through data triangulation. The results of the study show that the development of Lenong Arts has been experiencing ups and downs, which means that Lenong Arts has experienced a period of glory and decline. This is because there are still many people who do not participate in paying attention to the development of Lenong Arts. Only people who do have the soul or blood of art that has been taught from the family for generations, and also people who have an interest in art. This is also influenced by the DKI Jakarta Provincial Government, more precisely the Cultural Office which must pay more attention to Lenong Arts, by helping studios to survive and also the DKI Jakarta Provincial Government must hold performances more often in areas in Jakarta so that the community can provide knowledge about Lenong to the local community. The comparison between the history of Lenong Arts and the participation of the community in preserving Lenong Arts is very significant, this is thought to be the Setu Babakan area supervised by the management unit of the Cultural Office while the Ciliwung Condet Padepokan area is owned by a Betawi community. so that the community in the Setu Babakan area does not play an active role based on informants in terms of planning and in terms of implementation the community only plays a role in promoting Lenong Arts performance events, while the community in the Padepokan Ciliwung Condet area plays a very active role in terms of planning and implementation of Lenong Arts performance events.
