Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan strategi school branding guna meningkatkan citra sekolah SMP Negeri 281 Jakarta. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode deskriptif. Pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui observasi, wawancara, dokumentasi, dan studi pustaka. Analisis data dilakukan dengan teknik reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa strategi school branding guna meningkatkan citra sekolah sudah berjalan melalui bentuk-bentuk strategi penerapan school branding dalam meningkatkan citra sekolah, diantaranya dengan merealisasikan slogan menarik pada program sekolah, kolaborasi bersama Babinsa dalam penyuluhan kenakalan remaja, memiliki program Sekali Dulpas, aktif membranding kegiatan dan prestasi sekolah di media sosial, mengikuti pelatihan keprofesionalan guru (In House Training), dan memiliki program pembiasaan pagi 5S, literasi, dan pembinaan wali kelas. Adapun dampak dari school branding terhadap meningkatnya citra sekolah, diantaranya mendapat kepercayaan dari masyarakat, diminati calon peserta didik, meningkatkan reputasi sekolah, dan meraih banyak prestasi. ***** This research aims to describe the strategy school branding in order to improve the school image of SMP Negeri 281 Jakarta. This research uses a qualitative approach with descriptive methods. Data collection was carried out through observation, interviews, documentation and literature study. Data analysis was carried out using data reduction techniques, data presentation and drawing conclusions. The research results show that strategy school branding In order to improve the school's image, it has been implemented through various forms of implementation strategieschool branding in improving the school's image, including by realizing attractive slogans in school programs, collaborating with Babinsa in counseling on juvenile delinquency, having a Once Dulpas program, actively comparing school activities and achievements on social media, taking part in teacher professional training (In House Training), and has a 5S morning habituation program, literacy, and homeroom teacher coaching. The impact of school branding on improving the school's image, including gaining trust from the community, attracting prospective students, increasing the school's reputation, and achieving many achievements.
