Abstract

Penelitian tindakan kelas ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan nilai hasil belajar siswa pada mata pelajaran Matematika materi nilai tempat bilangan melalui media block dienes. Penelitian tindakan kelas ini menggunakan model dari Kemmis dan Mc Taggart sebanyak dua siklus. Setiap siklus terdari dari empat tahap, yaitu perencanaan, tindakan, pengamatan dan refleksi. Subjek dalam penelitian ini adalah 4 orang siswa kelas III SLB E Handayani. Data yang diperoleh berupa hasil tes evaluasi dan hasil observasi kegiatan belajar mengajar. Hasil penelitian belajar pada pra siklus sebesar 33, pada siklus I nilainya meningkat sebesar 56.25, dan pada siklus II mencapai rata-rata 86.25. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian tersebut dapat disimpulkan bahwa media block dienes dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa pada mata pelajaran Matematika materi nilai tempat bilangan. ***** This classroom action research aims to increase student learning outcomes in Mathematics subject matter of place value of numbers through block dienes media. This classroom action research uses the model from Kemmis and Mc Taggart for two cycles. Each cycle consists of four stages, namely planning, action, observation and reflection. The subjects in this research were 4 class III students at SLB E Handayani. The data obtained is in the form of evaluation test results and observation results of teaching and learning activities. The learning research results in the pre-cycle were 33, in the first cycle the value increased by 56.25, and in the second cycle it reached an average of 86.25. Based on the results of this research, it can be concluded that block dienes media can improve student learning outcomes in Mathematics subject matter of place value of numbers.
