Abstract

ALIFIA DWINANTI HAKAMASHE. Pengaruh Penerapan Active, Joful and Effective Learning terhadap Motivasi Belajar Biologi Siswa pada Materi Perubahan Lingkungan. Skripsi, Program Studi Pendidikan Biologi, Fakultas Matematika dan Ilmu Pengetahuan Alam, Universitas Negeri Jakarta. Juni 2024. Kurikulum Merdeka menjadi salah satu upaya untuk meningkatkan kualitas pendidikan yang didukung dengan adanya pengembangan pendekatan.Pembelajaran dilakukan menggunakan pendekatan untuk dapat memotivasi siswa dalam proses pembelajaran khususnya pada pembelajaran biologi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh penerapan Active, Joyful and Effective Learning (AJEL) terhadap motivasi belajar biologi siswa pada materi perubahan lingkungan. Metode penelitian berupa penelitian deskriptif dengan kuasi eksperimen. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan pada semester genap Tahun Ajaran 2023/2024 di SMA, melibatkan 52 peserta didik kelas 10 sebagai sampel penelitian dengan teknik simple random sampling. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuasi eksperimen dengan pretest posttest control group design. Komponen model pembelajaran yang mencerminkan Active, Joyful and Effective Learning (AJEL) yang digunakan adalah model time token, gallery walk dan outdoor study. Instrumen yang digunakan berupa kuesioner dengan skala likert. Setelah dilakukan uji normalitas berupa Uji Kolmogorov-Smirnovv dan Uji Homogen (Uji F) maka diketahui data sudah berdistribusi normal dan homogen. Peningkatan motivasi belajar biologi siswa dapat diukur dari Uji N-Gain. Pada hasil perhitungan didapatkan pada kelas eksperimen nilai N-Gain sebesar 0,66 dan nilai N-Gain pada kelas kontrol sebesar 0,55 yang termasuk ke dalam kategori sedang. Hasil perhitungan uji hipotesis (uji t) menunjukkan adanya pengaruh penerapan pendekatan Active, Joyful and Effective Learning terhadap motivasi belajar biologi siswa. Merdeka curriculum is one of the efforts to improve the quality of education which is supported by the development of approaches. Learning is carried out using approaches to motivate students in the learning process, especially in biology learning. This study aims to determine the effect of applying Active, Joyful and Effective Learning (AJEL) on students' biology learning motivation on environmental change material. The research method is descriptive research with quasi-experiment. This research was conducted in the even semester of the 2023/2024 academic year at SMA, involving 52 grade 10 students as research samples using simple random sampling technique. This study used a quasi-experimental method with a pretest posttest control group design. The components of the learning model that reflect Active, Joyful and Effective Learning (AJEL) used are the time token model, gallery walk and outdoor study. The instrument used is a questionnaire with a Likert scale. After the normality test in the form of Kolmogorov-Smirnovv Test and Homogeneous Test (F Test), it is known that the data is normally distributed and homogeneous. The increase in students' biology learning motivation can be measured from the N-Gain Test. In the calculation results obtained in the experimental class N-Gain value of 0.66 and N-Gain value in the control class of 0.55 which is included in the medium category. The results of the calculation of the hypothesis test (t test) showed the effect of applying the Active, Joyful and Effective Learning approach on students' biology learning motivation.
