Abstract

Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk menilai estetika teknik melekatkan benang dengan mesin jahit, sulaman tusuk hias jelujur, dan sulaman tusuk hias tikam jejak sebagai hiasan upcycling pada vest. Metode penelitian yang digunakan pada penelitian ini yaitu kuantitatif dengan pendekatan Desain Pre-eksperimental yang digunakan adalah one-shot case study. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan instrument angket yang diberikan kepada 5 panelis ahli untuk memberikan nilai, dengan variabel tunggal yaitu penilaian estetika hasil upcycling vest, serta inikator berupa wujud atau rupa dan bobot atau isi Penilaian diukur dengan rating scale. Hasil penelitian pada indikator wujud atau rupa memperoleh skor tertinggi dengan nilai 95,84% dengan hasil sangat baik, hal ini mengartikan bahwa berdasarkan aspek wujud atau rupa telah sesuai dengan penerapan indikator yang meliputi, bentuk warna, ukuran, tekstur, harmoni, irama, proporsi pusat perhatian, dan keseimbangan. Pada urutan kedua, aspek bobot atau isi dengan nilai 95% dengan hasil yang sangat baik, hal ini mengartikan bahwa gagasan ide sudah menerapkan penilaian secara keseluruhan aspek penilaian berdasarkan sumber inspirasi. Hasil penilaian dari lima desain produk penerapan teknik melekatkan benang, sulaman tusuk hias jelujur, dan tusuk hias tikam jejak memperoleh skor tertinggi pada desain 5 dengan nilai 92,40% berdasarkan pendapat panelis bahwa pemilihan gagasan ide sudah sesuai dengan penerapannya yang meliputi, bentuk, warna, ukuran, tekstur, harmoni irama, proporsi, pusat perhatian, dan keseimbangan. ***** This study was conducted to assess the Aesthetic Assessment Of The Vest Upcycling by applying thread attaching technique , embroidery running stitch, and back stitch. Research method using quantitative descriptive with pre-eksperimental design, one-shot case study model. Data collecting technique using questionnaire which given to 5 experts to assess, with single variable namely the aesthetic of the vest upcycling, as well as indicators including form or appearance and weight or content. The assessment is measured with rating scale. The results of the study on the form or appearance obtained the highest score with a value of 95,84% with very good result, this means that based on the aspect of appropriate shape, color, size, texture, harmony, rhythm, center of interest, and balance. the assessment is displayed as a whole aspect of the aesthetic of the vest upcycling. In the second place, the weight or content indicators scored 95% with very good result, because it has implemented weight or content assessment aspect based on the source of inspiration. The results of the assessment of the five product aesthetic of the vest upcycling by applying thread attaching technique , embroidery running stitch, and back stitch, design 2 got the highest a score with a value of 92,40% based on the opinion of the panelists, that the selection idea is very appropriate in its application, overall has a shape, color, size, texture, harmony, rhythm, center of interest, and balance.
