Abstract

Industri maritim memiliki peran penting dalam perekonomian global, khususnya dalam menggerakkan rantai pasok dan logistik. Di Indonesia, keberadaan pelabuhan sangat vital dalam mendukung aktivitas perdagangan domestik dan internasional, mengingat negara ini adalah negara kepulauan yang memerlukan angkutan laut cepat, murah, dan efisien. PT Kaluku Maritima Utama, sebuah perusahaan di bidang pelayaran dan logistik, bertanggung jawab atas kegiatan bongkar muat barang di pelabuhan. Proses tally, yang melibatkan pencatatan, pengukuran, penimbangan, dan verifikasi barang, sangat penting untuk menjamin kelancaran operasional dan akurasi data. Namun, kendala seperti kurangnya koordinasi dan penggunaan sistem pencatatan manual sering menyebabkan keterlambatan dan kesalahan. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengidentifikasi penyebab keterlambatan tally di PT Kaluku Maritima Utama dan memberikan rekomendasi strategis untuk meningkatkan efisiensi operasional. Metodologi yang digunakan adalah kuantitatif dengan pendekatan deskriptif, yang menggambarkan keadaan objek penelitian melalui data dan sampel yang terkumpul. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa tally pelabuhan memiliki pengaruh signifikan terhadap kinerja bongkar muat. Implementasi tally yang baik dapat meningkatkan kelancaran dan efisiensi kegiatan, serta produktivitas pekerja. Uji koefisien determinasi menunjukkan nilai korelasi (R) sebesar 0,676, yang berarti terdapat hubungan signifikan antara variabel independen dan dependen, dengan nilai R Square sebesar 0,457, yang menunjukkan 45% variabel bongkar muat dipengaruhi oleh variabel tally pelabuhan. Hasil ini menegaskan pentingnya peningkatan sistem dan koordinasi dalam kegiatan tally untuk mendukung operasional pelabuhan yang lebih efisien. ***** he maritime industry has an important role in the global economy, especially in driving supply chains and logistics. In Indonesia, the existence of ports is vital in supporting domestic and international trade activities, considering that this country is an archipelagic country that requires fast, cheap and efficient sea transportation. PT Kaluku Maritima Utama, a company in the shipping and logistics sector, is responsible for loading and unloading activities at the port. The tally process, which involves recording, measuring, weighing and verifying goods, is critical to ensuring smooth operations and data accuracy. However, obstacles such as lack of coordination and the use of manual recording systems often cause delays and errors. This research aims to identify the causes of tally delays at PT Kaluku Maritima Utama and provide strategic recommendations to improve operational efficiency. The methodology used is quantitative with a descriptive approach, which describes the state of the research object through collected data and samples. The research results show that the port tally has a significant influence on loading and unloading performance. Good tally implementation can increase the smoothness and efficiency of activities, as well as worker productivity. The coefficient of determination test shows a correlation value (R) of 0.676, which means there is a significant relationship between the independent and dependent variables, with an R Square value of 0.457, which shows that 45% of the loading and unloading variable is influenced by the port tally variable. These results emphasize the importance of improving systems and coordination in tally activities to support more efficient port operations.
