Abstract

*****ABSTRAK***** Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk untuk mengetahui pengaruh metode two stay two stray terhadap keterampilan membaca bahasa Arab siswa kelas VIII di MTs Umdatur Rasikhien Jakarta. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode eksperimen dengan jenis quasi eksperimen bentuk post test only control design. Populasi pada penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa MTS Umdatur Rasikhien Jakarta dengan sampel penelitian terdiri dari dua kelas yaitu kelas VIII-3 sebagai kelas kontrol yang berjumlah 30 siswa dan kelas VIII-4 sebagai kelas eksperimen yang berjumlah 30 siswa. Adapun teknik pengambilan sampel yang digunakan yaitu purposive sampling. Kelas eksperimen adalah kelas yang melaksanakan pembelajaran bahasa arab dengan menggunakan metode two stay two stray, sedangkan kelas kontrol adalah kelas yang melaksanakan pembelajaran tanpa menggunakan metode two stay two stray. Instrumen penelitian yang digunakan adalah post-test dengan memberikan 25 soal pada kegiatan terakhir. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah statistik deskriptif dan uji hipotesis. Sebelum dilakukan uji hipotesis, dilakukan uji prasyarat analisis yaitu uji normalitas menggunakan uji liliefors dengan nilai signifikansi 0,053 pada kelas kontrol dan 0,056 pada kelas eksperimen lebih besar dari nilai signifikansi 0,05 dan uji homogenitas menggunakan uji f dengan nilai signifikansi 0,120 lebih besar dari 0,05. Kemudian dilakukan uji hipotesis dengan uji t untuk melihat pengaruh metode two stay two stray terhadap keterampilan membaca bahasa arab siswa kelas delapan. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh pada penggunaan metode two stay two stray terhadap keterampilan membaca bahasa arab siswa kelas VIII di MTs Umdatur Rasikhien Jakarta. Hal ini dibuktikan dengan hasil penggunaan uji t pada tingkat signifikansi 0,05. Pada penelitian ini diperoleh t hitung 3,845 > t tabel 2,000. Oleh karena itu, terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan antara penggunaan metode two stay two stray terhadap keterampilan membaca bahasa arab siswa dan terdapat perbedaan hasil belajar siswa yang diajarkan menggunakan metode two stay two stray memiliki rata-rata lebih tinggi dibanding siswa yang diajarkan dengan metode ceramah. Kata kunci: Metode Pembelajaran, Two Stay Two Stray, Keterampilan Membaca Bahasa Arab *****ABSTRACT***** The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of the two stay two stray method on the Arabic reading skills of eighth grade students at Islamic Junior High School Umdatur Rasikhien Jakarta. This study uses an experimental method with the type of quasi experiment from the control group design only form. The population in this study were all Islamic Junior High School Umdatur Rasikhien Jakarta with the research sample consisting of two classes, namely class VIII-3 as the control class totaling 30 students and class VIII-4 as the experimental class totaling 30 students. The sampling technique used was purposive sampling. The experimental class is a class that carries out Arabic language learning using the two stay two stray method, while the control class is a class that carries out learning without using the two stay two stray method. The research instrument used was a post-test by giving 25 questions in the last activity. The data analysis technique used is descriptive statistics and hypothesis testing. Before hypothesis testing, the prerequisite analysis test was carried out, namely the normality test using the liliefors test with a significance value of 0,053 in the control class and 0,056 in the experimental class greater than the significance value of 0,05 and the homogeneity test using the f test with a significance value of 0,120 greater than 0,05. Then hypothesis testing was carried out with the t test to see the effect of the tsts method on eighth grade students' Arabic reading skills. Based on the results of the study, it can be concluded that there is an influence on the use of the two stay two stray method on the Arabic reading skills of eighth grade students at Islamic Junior High School Umdatur Rasikhien Jakarta. This is evidenced by the results of using the t test at a significance level of 0,05. In this study obtained t count 3,845> t table 2,000. Therefore, there is a significant influence between the use of the two stay two stray method on students' Arabic reading skills and there is a difference in the learning outcomes of students taught using the two stay two stray method has a higher average than students taught by the lecture method.
