Abstract

*****ABSTRAK***** Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh penggunaan media lagu terhadap penguasaan kosakata bahasa Jerman siswa kelas XI SMAN 67 Jakarta terkait topik Keluarga (Familie). Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian kuantitatif dengan desain penelitian Pretest-Posttest Control Group Design. Berdasarkan teknik random sampling, diperoleh dua kelas yang menjadi sampel dalam penelitian, yaitu kelas XI-Jerman.2 yang berjumlah 34 siswa sebagai kelas eksperimen dan kelas XI-Jerman.3 yang berjumlah 21 siswa sebagai kelas kontrol. Pengambilan data dilakukan dengan pemberian tes penguasaan kosakata dan data penelitian ini merupakan hasil dari tes tersebut. Uji validitas instrumen dihitung dengan rumus Product Moment dan Uji Reliabilitas dihitung dengan rumus KR-20. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan untuk menguji hipotesis adalah uji t-test Pooled Varian dan Separated Varian. Hasil penelitian diketahui bahwa thitung pretest antara kelas eksperimen dan kelas kontrol sebesar 0,516 dengan ttabel pada taraf signifiaksi 0,05 dan db = 53 sebesar 2,006. Sedangkan hasil posttest diperoleh thitung sebesar 2,106 dengan ttabel sebesar 2,009 dengan taraf signifikasi 0,05. Hal ini menunjukkan nilai thitung > ttabel (2,106 > 2,009) yang berarti ada perbedaan yang signifikan terkait hasil penguasaan kosakata bahasa Jerman antara kelas eksperimen dan kelas kontrol. Berdasarkan hasil perhitungan tersebut dan pengujian hipotesis dapat disimpulkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh penggunaan media lagu terhadap penguasaan kosakata bahasa Jerman siswa kelas XI SMAN 67 Jakarta terkait topik Keluarga (Familie). *****ABSTRACT***** This research aims to determine the effect of using song media on German vocabulary mastery among 11th-grade students at SMAN 67 Jakarta concerning the topic of Family (Familie). The research employs a quantitative research method with a Pretest-Posttest Control Group Design. Based on random sampling techniques, two classes were selected as samples: Class XI-German.2 with 34 students as the experimental group, and Class XI-German.3 with 21 students as the control group. Data collection was carried out through vocabulary mastery tests, and the data for this research are derived from these tests. The validity of the instruments was calculated using the Product Moment formula, and the reliability was calculated using the KR-20 formula. The data analysis technique used for hypothesis testing is the t-test Pooled Variant and Separated Variant. The results of the research indicated that the pretest t-value between the experimental and control classes was 0.516, with the t-table value at a significance level of 0.05 and degrees of freedom (df) = 53 being 2.006. In contrast, the posttest results showed a t-value of 2.106, with the t-table value being 2.009 at a significance level of 0.05. This indicates that the t-value (2.106) is greater than the t-table value (2.009), meaning there is a significant difference in German vocabulary mastery between the experimental and control classes. Based on these calculations and hypothesis testing, it can be concluded that there is an effect of using song media on German vocabulary mastery among 11th-grade students at SMAN 67 Jakarta concerning the topic of Family (Familie).
