Abstract

Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk menjelaskan penerapan metode pelatihan yang diterapkan di Sanggar Selaras Pinang Masak dan mendeskripsikan prestasi yang diperoleh siswa dari pelaksanaan metode pelatihan yang diterapkan oleh Sanggar Selaras Pinang Masak. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif. Data penelitian diperoleh melalui observasi, wawancara dan studi dokumen dan dianalisis secara kualitatif. Temuan penelitian bahwa metode pelatihan yang diterapkan di Sanggar Selaras Pinang Masak mempunyai dua metode utama dan satu metode tambahan, metode utama yang diterapkan adalah metode demonstrasi dan metode tutor sebaya dan metode tambahan yang diterapkan adalah metode diskusi. Penerapan metode demonstrasi dan tutor sebaya biasanya diterapkan diawal pelatihan, metode tutor sebaya dilakukan dengan memberikan materi tari dari awal hingga akhir tarian dan metode demonstrasi diterapkan hanya pembetulan dan perincian gerak dan bentuk tari dari tangan, kaki, kepala dan badan. Kesimpulan penelitian bahwa penerapan metode pelatihan yang diterapkan di Sanggar Selaras Pinang Masak terbukti efektif meningkatkan prestasi siswa khususnya pada Tari Zapin Melayu Kreasi, dilihat dari prestasi-prestasi yang diraih oleh Sanggar Selaras Pinang Masak baik nasional ataupun internasional, seperti Juara III Festival Kreasi Melayu Jambi, Juara I LODATARA, Juara I Lomba Atraksi Zapin. *********************************************************** This research was conducted to explain the implementation of the training methods applied at the Selaras Pinang Masak Studio and to describe the achievements obtained by students from the implementation of the training methods applied by the Selaras Pinang Masak Studio. This study uses a qualitative method. Research data obtained through observation, interviews and document studies and analyzed qualitatively. The research finding is that the training method applied at Sanggar Selaras Pinang Masak has two main methods and one additional method, the main method applied is the demonstration method and peer tutoring method and the additional method applied is the discussion method. The application of the demonstration method and peer tutoring is usually applied at the beginning of the training, the peer tutoring method is carried out by providing dance material from the beginning to the end of the dance and the demonstration method is applied only to correct and detail the movements and dance forms of the hands, feet, head and body. The conclusion of the study is that the application of the training method applied at the Selaras Pinang Masak Studio has proven to be effective in increasing student achievement, especially in the Zapin Melayu Kreasi Dance, seen from the achievements of the Selaras Pinang Masak Studio, both nationally and internationally.
