Abstract
Karya tari Lasmi mengacu pada teori penciptaan Alma M. Hawkins dalam bukunya Moving From Within terjemahkan I Wayan Dibia, dengan judul Bergerak Menurut Hati. Proses penciptaan karya tari Lasmi meliputi dan melibatkan proses penciptaan serta menggunakan metode penciptaan kualitatif. Karya Tari Lasmi menggunakan Desain Dramatik dan Mode Penyajian Representasi Simbolik. Penciptaan karya tari Lasmi melibatkan empat orang penari sebagai tokoh dalam karya tari Lasmi. Gerak tradisi Jawa Barat sebagai pijakan yang dikembangkan kedalam beberapa motif gerak tradisi yaitu : galieur, tumpang tali dan ukel yang kemudian dikembangkan dengan gerak keseharian menggunakan teknik tari, slide, wafe, roll yang tentunya melibatkan proses eksplorasi, improvisasi dan pembentukan dalam menciptakan karya tari inovatif yang memiliki nilai akademis dan berangkat dari kisah perjuangan seorang tokoh perempuan intelektual pertama berasal dari Garut dalam memberantas kesenjangan gender antara laki-laki dan perempuan. ********************************************************** Lasmi's dance work refers to Alma M. Hawkins' theory of creation in his book Moving From Within translated by I Wayan Dibia, with the title Moving According to the Heart. The process of creating Lasmi dance works includes and involves the creation process and uses qualitative methods of creation. Lasmi Dance works using Dramatic Design and Symbolic Representation Presentation Mode. The creation of the Lasmi dance involves four dancers as characters in the Lasmi dance. West Java's traditional movement as a foothold was developed into several traditional movement motifs, namely: galieur, overlapping rope, ukel which were then developed with daily movements using dance techniques, slides, wave, rolls which of course involved a process of exploration, improvisation, formation in creating innovative dance works. which has academic value and departs from the story of the struggle of the first female intellectual character from Garut in eradicating the gender gap between men and women.
