********************************************************* This study aims to describe the learning process of the Contextual Teaching and Learning model to enhance students' appreciation of the Nusantara Dance and improve the learning outcomes of Nusantara dance appreciation using the Contextual Teaching and Learning as the learning model. The study was carried out because students lacked an appreciation for dance, which was shown by their passive interest in learning dance, and students were unaware of Nusantara Dance. Kemmis' and McTaggart's classroom action research (CAR) method was used in this study, along with the application of Contextual Teaching and Learning as the learning model. This study used two cycles; each cycle has planning, action, observing, and reflecting stages. This study took place at SMAN 1 Jampangkulon in Sukabumi, West Java, from February to May 2020. The study finding showed that the Contextual Teaching and Learning as the learning model could enhance students' appreciation of the Nusantara dance, which was indicated by the average class score of 40.55, the average class score of the first cycle of 73.16, and the average class score of the second cycle of 81.72. In addition, nineteen people in the first cycle had a mastery learning of 53%, and it increased to 83% in the second cycle, meaning that as many as 29 students had met the minimum criteria of mastery learning (KKM) for Arts and Culture of 75.
