Abstract

Tata rias efek khusus merupakan tata rias yang bertujuan untuk menciptakan ilusi atau efek khusus pada penampilan seseorang. Tata rias efek khusus seringkali melibatkan teknik prostetik untuk menciptakan efek yang lebih dramatis dan realistis. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menghasilkan video tutorial efek khusus kulit buaya dengan teknik prostetik dari lem tembak dan tisu yang layak menurut ahli media dan ahli materi. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode R&D (Research and Development) dengan model pengembangan ADDIE. Hasil pada pengembangan video tutorial ini di uji kelayakannya oleh ahli materi dan ahli media. Hasil kelayakan yang dilakukan oleh ahli materi mendapatkan nilai presentase 80% yaitu layak dan ahli media 100% yaitu sangat layak. Kelayakan pengembangan video juga dilakukan uji praktikalitas kepada masyarakat yang memiliki pengetahuan serta pengalaman dalam melakukan makeup efek dan prostetik serta masyarakat yang bekerja dibidang makeup efek baik di teater maupun film, dalam uji praktikalitas ini mendapatkan nilai 92% dapat disimpulkan bahwa video tutorial tersebut sangat praktis. Special effects make-up is make-up that aims to create an illusion or special effect on a person’s appearance. Special effects makeup often involves prosthetic techniques to create more dramatic and realistic effects. This research aims to produce a video tutorial on the special effects of crocodile skin using a prosthetic technique from hot glue and tissue that is feasible according to media experts and material experts. This research uses the R&D (Research and Development) method with the ADDIE development model. The results of the development of this video tutorial were tested for feasibility by material experts and media experts. The feasibility results carried out by material experts received a percentage score of 80%, which is feasible, and 100% by media experts, which is very feasible. The feasibility of developing the video was also carried out a practicality test on people who have knowledge and experience in doing make-up effects and prosthetics as well as people who work in the field of make-up effects both in theatre and film. In this practicality test it got a score of 92% It can be concluded that the video tutorial is Very Feasible and practical.
