Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui literasi kimia peserta didik melalui penerapan model Case Based Learning (CBL) pada materi minyak bumi dan pembakarannya. Subjek penelitian terdiri dari 15 peserta didik kelas XI MIPA 3 SMA Negeri 1 Terusan Nunyai di Kabupaten Lampung Tengah, Provinsi Lampung. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode kualitatif jenis studi kasus. Teknik pengumpulan pada penelitian ini di antaranya observasi, soal tes literasi kimia, dan angket/kuesioner. Literasi kimia peserta didik dianalisis pada empat aspek, yaitu aspek konten, pengetahuan, kompetensi, dan sikap. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa diperoleh rata-rata ketercapaian literasi kimia peserta didik kelas XI MIPA 3 SMA Negeri 1 Terusan Nunyai secara keseluruhan sebesar 40,67% dengan kategori “kurang sekali”. ******************************** The purpose of this study was to determine the chemical literacy of students through the application of the Case Based Learning (CBL) model on petroleum and its combustion. The research subjects consisted of 15 students of class XI MIPA 3 SMA Negeri 1 Terusan Nunyai in Central Lampung District, Lampung Province. The research method used is a case study qualitative method. The collection techniques in this study include observation, chemical literacy test questions, and questionnaires. Chemical literacy of students is analyzed in four aspects, namely aspects of content, knowledge, competence, and attitude. The results showed that the average achievement of chemical literacy of students in class XI MIPA 3 SMA Negeri 1 Terusan Nunyai was 40,67% in the "very poor" category.
