Abstract

Salah satu pembelajaran yang digunakan oleh beberapa Sekolah Menengah Kejuruan adalah stem blok. Sistem blok dipakai guna memfokuskan pembelajaran agar lebih efektif, dengan jumlah pertemuan yang lebih sedikit. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui bagaimakah pelaksanaan kegiatan pembelajaran menggunakan sistem blok pada konsentrasi keahlian Teknik Otomasi Industri SMKN 1 Cibinong. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian evaluatif dengan menggunakan model CIPP (Context, Input, Process, Product). Hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkan bahwa pelaksanaan pembelajaran sistem blok dalam sisi context merujuk landasan utama penerapan sistem blok yang mana untuk meningkatkan kualitas pembelajaran dan keterlibatan peserta didik, dengan kebijakan Teaching Factory sebagai pilar utamanya yang menekankan pembelajaran berbasis produksi.Dalam sisi Input kesesuaian kompetensi guru produktif sudah sesuai dengan kualifikasi, perencanaan pembelajaran dilakukan dengan baik sebelum, implementasi metode pembelajaran menggunakan metode ceramah serta berbasis proyek (Project Based Learning), serta sarana dan prasarana praktikum yang mesti menjadi catatan sebagai penunjang pembelajaran. Pada sisi process Hasil observasi menunjukkan bahwa guru telah mempersiapkan perangkat pembelajaran dengan baik, menerapkan metode pembelajaran yang berpusat pada peserta didik, dan mampu menciptakan komunikasi dua arah yang efektif. Sebagian besar guru menunjukkan kemampuan dalam pengelolaan kelas dan penyampaian materi yang baik, serta mampu menyeimbangkan antara kesantunan dan ketegasan dalam berinteraksi dengan peserta didik. Dari hasil kuesioner yang disebarkan kepada 157 responden, mayoritas peserta didik memberikan respon positif terhadap pembelajaran sistem blok, dimana mereka merasa sistem ini efektif dalam meningkatkan pemahaman materi dan memberikan kesempatan untuk pengembangan diri. Dalam sisi product menunjukan hasil belajar peserta didik yang baik, dengan menghasilkan rata-rata nilai 85 setiap mata pelajaran. Terdapat pola keterkaitan dari masing-masing komponen evaluasi, yang mana context, input, dan process yang baik akan menghasilkan product yang baik, dan product yang baik dihasilkan dari context, input, dan process yang baik pula. Rekomendasi yang diberikan adalah dengan melanjutkan program. ***** One learning method employed by several Vocational High Schools is the block system. This approach focuses learning to enhance its effectiveness while reducing the number of meetings. The purpose of this study is to evaluate the implementation of learning activities using the block system in the Industrial Automation Engineering concentration at SMKN 1 Cibinong. This evaluative research utilizes the CIPP (Context, Input, Process, Product) model. The study's findings indicate that, in terms of context, the main objective of implementing the block system is to improve the quality of learning and student engagement. The Teaching Factory policy serves as the primary pillar, emphasizing production-based learning. Regarding Input, the competencies of productive teachers align with the required qualifications. Learning planning is conducted thoroughly in advance, employing lecture methods alongside project-based learning. Additionally, practical facilities and infrastructure are important aspects supporting the learning process. On the Process side, observations reveal that teachers have prepared learning tools effectively and implemented student-centered learning methods while facilitating successful two-way communication. Most teachers demonstrate strong classroom management skills and deliver materials well, maintaining a balance between politeness and firmness in their interactions with students. From questionnaires distributed to 157 respondents, the majority of students responded positively to block system learning, expressing that this approach was effective in enhancing their understanding of the material and providing opportunities for self-development. Finally, in terms of Product, the results indicate good student learning outcomes, with an average score of 85 in each subject. There is a clear connection among the evaluation components; good context, input, and process lead to favorable products, and successful products stem from effective context, input, and process. The recommendation is to continue the implementation of the block system.
