Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memperoleh penilaian estetika motif patchwork pada dress yang dinilai oleh panelis ahli berdasarkan estetika meliputi aspek nilai estetik dalam seni rupa, sifat dasar seni, dan elemen seni. Aspek nilai estetik dalam seni rupa meliputi indikator unsur desain dan prinsip desain. Sub indikator unsur desain mencakup garis, bentuk, warna, ukuran, dan tekstur. Sedangkan sub indikator prinsip desain mencakup harmoni, keseimbangan, pusat perhatian, dan proporsi. Aspek sifat dasar seni meliputi kreativitas. Aspek elemen seni meliputi ide pokok. Metode penelitian ini menggunakan pre-eksperimental dengan desain one shot case study menggunakan pendekatan kuatitatif. Penilaian diukur dengan menggunakan rating scale. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan angket atau kuesioner yang diberikan kepada 5 panelis ahli untuk menilai, dengan variabel tunggal yaitu penilaian motif patchwork pada dress. Hasil penilaian estetika dari kelima desain produk motif patchwork pada dress secara keseluruhan berdasarkan aspek nilai estetik dalam seni rupa, sifat dasar seni dan elemen seni memperoleh nilai hasil akhir 81,4% dengan kategori sangat baik. Aspek estetika yang memperoleh skor tertinggi yaitu aspek nilai estetik dalam seni rupa dengan perolehan nilai 84,4% yang termasuk dalam kategori sangat baik. Sedangkan produk motif patchwork pada dress yang memperoleh nilai tertinggi adalah desain produk 4 dengan perolehan nilai 85,2% yang termasuk dalam kategori sangat baik dan nilai terendah diperoleh dari desain produk 2 dengan perolehan skor 83,6% yang termasuk dengan kategori sangat baik. ***** This study aims to obtain an aesthetic assessment of patchwork motifs on dresses assessed by expert panelists based on the aesthetic including aspects of aesthetic value in fine art, the nature of art, and art elements. Aspects of aesthetic value in fine art include indicators of design elements and design principles. Sub-indicators of design elements include line, shape, color, size, and texture. The sub-indicators of design principles include harmony, balance, center of attention, and proportion. Aspects of the nature of art include creativity. Aspects of art elements include the main idea. This research method uses pre-experimental with a one shot case study design using a quantitative approach. The assessment is measured using a rating scale. The data collection technique used a questionnaire given to 5 expert panelists to assess, with a single variable, namely the assessment of patchwork motifs on dresses. The results of the aesthetic assessment of the five patchwork motif product designs on the dress as a whole based on aspects of aesthetic value in art, the nature of art and art elements obtained a final score of 81.4% in the very good category. The aesthetic aspect that obtained the highest score was the aspect of aesthetic value in fine art with a score of 84.4% which was included in the very good category. While the patchwork motif product on the dress that obtained the highest score was product design 4 with a score of 85.2% which is very good.
