Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengukur keberhasilan pembinaan anak jalanan peserta didik program pendidikan kesetaraan Paket B. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif. Prosedur pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan wawancara, observasi, dan dokumentasi dengan pengambilan data sampel menggunakan teknik purposive sampling. Jumlah informan dalam penelitian ini adalah 4 orang yang terdiri dari ketua PKBM, koordinator Paket B, relawan pendidik Paket B, dan peserta didik Paket B. Keberhasilan pembinaan anak jalanan peserta didik program pendidikan kesetaraan Paket B dalam penelitian ini mengukur pembinaan yang meliputi 2 aspek, yaitu pengawasan dan supervisi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa proses pengawasan di PKBM Master melibatkan 4 indikator: pemantauan, pemeriksaan, bimbingan dan pengarahan, serta pemberian tindakan disiplin dan koreksi. Sementara itu, proses supervisi di PKBM Master juga melibatkan 4 indikator: mampu membuat perencanaan dan persiapan dalam mengajar, menguasai materi belajar, menguasai metode dan strategi belajar, serta mampu mengelola kelas dan melakukan evaluasi. Proses pengawasan dan supervisi ini menunjukkan keberhasilan dalam pembinaan anak jalanan peserta didik program pendidikan kesetaraan Paket B dilihat dari meningkatnya kelulusan peserta didik Paket B. ***** This study aims to measure the success of the development of street children participants in the Package B equivalency education program. This research employs a qualitative approach. Data collection procedures were conducted through interviews, observations, and documentation, with purposive sampling used for data selection. The study involved 4 informants including the head of the PKBM, the coordinator of Package B, a volunteer educator for Package B, and Package B participants. The success of the development of street children participants in the Package B equivalency education program was assessed through 2 aspects, guidance and supervision. The results show that the guidance process at PKBM Master involves 4 indicators: monitoring, inspection, mentoring and direction, as well as disciplinary actions and corrections. Meanwhile, the supervision process at PKBM Master also includes 4 indicators: the ability to plan and prepare lessons, mastery of learning materials, mastery of teaching methods and strategies, and the ability to manage the classroom and conduct evaluations. These guidance and supervision processes demonstrate the success of the development of street children participants in the Package B equivalency education program, as seen from the increased graduation rate of Package B participants.
