Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh kecemasan belajar terhadap performa akademik siswa di salah satu sekolah negeri di Jakarta Timur. Penelitian ini dilakukan menggunakan metode kuantitaf asosiatif. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penyebaran kuisioner dan wawancara kepada siswa kelas IX (sembilan). 144 siswa/i merupakan sampel yang dikumpulkan menggunakan teknik proportionate stratified random sampling. Penelitian dilaksanakan pada bulan Maret-Mei 2024. Hasil uji regresi menunjukan bahwa terdapat pengaruh signifikan antara kecemasan belajar terhadap performa akademik siswa dengan p-value 0,029 < 0,05. Dengan besaran kontribusi kecemasan belajar terhadap performa akademik siswa sebesar 3,3%, sisanya dipengaruhi oleh faktor lain yang tidak diteliti. Oleh karena itu, sangat penting bagi siswa untuk lebih percaya diri dalam proses pembelajaran, aktif bertanya ketika menemui kesulitan, sehingga kecemasan yang dialami selama pembelajaran dapat berkurang. Selain itu, guru di sekolah dapat membantu siswa mengatasi masalah kecemasan belajar dan memahami bagaimana kecemasan ini memengaruhi performa akademik mereka.***** This study aims to determine the effect of learning anxiety on students' academic performance in one of the public schools in East Jakarta. This study was conducted using an associative quantitative method. This study used a questionnaire distribution method and interviews with grade IX (nine) students. The sample was selected using the proportionate stratified random sampling technique of 144 grade IX students. The study was conducted in March-May 2024. The results of the regression test showed that there was a significant effect between learning anxiety on students' academic performance with a p-value of 0.029 <0.05. With the contribution of learning anxiety to students' academic performance of 3.3%, the rest is influenced by other factors that were not studied. Therefore, it is very important for students to be more confident in the learning process, actively ask questions when they encounter difficulties, so that the anxiety experienced during learning can be reduced. In addition, teachers at school can help students overcome learning anxiety problems and understand how this anxiety affects their academic performance.
