Abstract

Penelitian pengembangan ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan rancangan pelatihan pengawakan watercraft bagi rescuer di Badan Nasional Pencarian dan Pertolongan. Pengembangan produk rancangan pelatihan ini mengacu pada model Silberman yang memiliki 8 (delapan) tahapan yaitu (1) Assess the need for training and the participants, (2) Set general learning goal, (3) Specify objectives, (4) Design training activities, (5) Sequence training activities, (6) Start detailed planning, (7) Revise design details, (8) Evaluate the total result. Responden yang terlibat untuk mengevaluasi produk diantaranya, ahli desain instruksional, ahli materi, dan pengguna produk (tenaga pelatih atau instruktur Badan Nasional Pencarian dan Pertolongan). Nilai yang diperoleh dari evaluasi formatif dari ahli materi sebesar 3,84 (sangat baik) dan ahli desain instruksional 3,96 (sangat baik). Kemudian hasil uji coba pengguna dengan instruktur memproleh nilai rata-rata keseluruhan yaitu 3.64 (sangat baik). Berdasarkan hasil evaluasi formatif mengindikasikan bahwa produk rancangan pelatihan pengawakan watercraft bagi rescuer di BASARNAS sudah sesuai dan layak digunakan sebagai referensi dalam mengimplementasikan atau mengembangkanya lebih lanjut. ***** This development research aims to develop a watercraft manoeuvring training design for rescuers at the National Search and Rescue Agency Republic of Indonesia. The development of this training design product refers to the Silberman model which has 8 (eight) stages, namely (1) Assess the need for training and the participants, (2) Set general learning goals, (3) Specify objectives, (4) Design training activities, (5) Sequence training activities, (6) Start detailed planning, (7) Revise design details, (8) Evaluate the total result. Respondents involved to evaluate the product included instructional design experts, material experts, and product users (trainers or instructors of the National Search and Rescue Agency). The score obtained from the formative evaluation of the material expert was 3.84 (very good) and the instructional design expert was 3.96 (very good). Then the results of user trials with instructors obtained an overall average score of 3.64 (very good). Based on the results of the formative evaluation, it indicates that the product design of watercraft maneuvering training for rescuers at BASARNAS is appropriate and feasible to use as a reference in implementing or developing it further.
