Abstract

ABSTRAK Marthina Margaretha Sitohang Dra. Eneng Lutfia Zahra,M.Pd., Rahayu Purnama, M.Pd., Ph.d. Penilaian Jaket Bomber Dengan Menggunakan Batik Shaho khas Balikpapan Kalimantan Timur. Skripsi, Jakarta: Program Studi Sarjana Terapan Desain Mode, Fakultas Teknik, Universitas Negeri Jakarta, 2025. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menghasilkan produk yaitu jaket bomber menggunakan batik shaho dan memperoleh penilaian jaket bomber yang menggunakan batik shaho khas Balikpapan, Kalimantan Timur, berdasarkan aspek estetika. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif kuantitatif dengan desain penelitian pre-experimental, berupa one shot case study. Sebagai hasil, penelitian ini menghasilkan lima produk jaket bomber menggunkan Batik Shaho dinilai menggunakan rating scale. Instrumen penilaian berupa angket terdiri dari 14 pernyataan dengan skala pengukuran rating scale, diberikan kepada lima panelis ahli di bidangnya. Penilaian estetika mengacu pada tiga aspek: wujud atau rupa, bobot atau isi, dan penyajian atau penampilan. Secara keseluruhan, hasil penilaian estetika mencapai 83,8% dan masuk dalam kategori sangat baik. Pada aspek wujud atau rupa, mencakup unsur dan prinsip desain, diperoleh nilai sebesar 84,14% dengan kategori sangat baik. Untuk aspek bobot atau isi, meliputi gagasan atau ide yang didasarkan pada sumber inspirasi "Neo Culture Technology NCT Dream-Beatbox" diperoleh nilai sebesar 81,2% dengan kategori sangat baik. Sementara itu, aspek penyajian atau penampilan, mendapatkan nilai 84,8% dengan kategori sangat baik. Produk dengan penilaian tertinggi adalah desain empat, dengan nilai sebesar 88,8% dan masuk dalam kategori sangat baik, sementara desain lima mendapatkan nilai terendah, yaitu 76,8%, namun tetap berada dalam kategori baik. This study aims to produce a bomber jacket using Shaho batik and to evaluate the aesthetic aspects of the bomber jacket made with Shaho batik from Balikpapan, East Kalimantan. This research employs a quantitative descriptive method with a pre-experimental research design in the form of a one-shot case study. As a result, five bomber jacket products were created using Shaho Batik and evaluated using a rating scale. The assessment instrument consisted of a questionnaire with 14 statements, measured using a rating scale, and was distributed to five expert panelists in the field. The aesthetic evaluation referred to three aspects: form or appearance, content or substance, and presentation or performance. Overall, the aesthetic evaluation achieved a score of 83.8%, classified as very good." For the form or appearance aspect, which includes design elements and principles, a score of 84.14% was obtained, categorized as "very good." The content or substance aspect, which includes ideas inspired by "Neo Culture Technology NCT Dream-Beatbox," received a score of 81.2%, also categorized as very good. Meanwhile, the presentation or performance aspect obtained a score of 84.8%, classified as very good. The product with the highest evaluation score was design number four, with a score of 88.8%, categorized as very good, while design number five received the lowest score of 76.8%, but still fell into the good category.
