Abstract

The Effect of Digital Literacy and Financial Literacy on the Financial Behavior of Gen Z Entrepreneurs Mediated by Entrepreneurial Creativity at the Himpunan Pengusaha Muda Indonesia (HIPMI) Jakarta.Thesis. Master of Economics Education. Faculty of Economics and Business. State University of Jakarta, 2025. This study aims to determine the effect of digital literacy and financial literacy on the financial behavior of Gen Z entrepreneurs mediated by entrepreneurial creativity in the Indonesian Young Entrepreneurs Association (HIPMI) Jakarta. Primary data was obtained using stratified random sampling method with a sample size of 150 HIPMI Jakarta members through an independent survey with an online questionnaire. This research was conducted using quantitative descriptive method with Structural Equation Modeling Partial Least Squares (SEM-PLS) technique with Smart-PLS application to analyze the data. The results showed that there is a positive and significant effect of digital literacy, financial literacy and entrepreneurial creativity on financial behavior in Gen Z entrepreneurs of the Indonesian Young Entrepreneurs Association, Jakarta. This research is limited to Jakarta and with limited use of variables, namely digital literacy, financial literacy and entrepreneurial creativity. Digital literacy variables include the ability of functional and advanced skills in digital literacy, digital savings and loans, digital security, digital information management, communication and collaboration. Financial literacy variables include general knowledge of finance, savings and loans, insurance, investment. Entrepreneurial creativity variables include creativity, entrepreneurial alertness, proactive personality, determination for innovation, self-leadership and self-efficacy. Financial behaviors include paying bills on time, budgeting for expenses and recording expenses and purchases, provision of unexpected funds, regular savings allocation and price comparison before buying. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui Pengaruh Literasi Digital Dan Literasi Keuangan Terhadap Perilaku Keuangan Wirausaha Gen Z Dimediasi Oleh Entrepreneurial Creativity Pada Himpunan Pengusaha Muda Indonesia (HIPMI) Jakarta. Data primer diperoleh dengan metode stratified random sampling dengan jumlah sampel sebanyak 150 orang anggota HIPMI Jakarta melalui survei independen dengan kuesioner online.Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan metode deskriptif kuantitatif dengan teknik Structural Equation Modelling Partial Least Squares (SEM-PLS) dengan aplikasi Smart-PLS untuk menganalisis data. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan terdapat pengaruh positif dan signifikan literasi digital, literasi keuangan dan entrepreneurial creativity terhadap perilaku keuangan pada wirausaha Gen Z Himpunan Pengusaha Muda Indonesia, Jakarta. Penelitian ini terbatas hanya di Jakarta dan dengan penggunaan variabel yang terbatas yaitu literasi digital, literasi keuangan dan entrepreneurial creativity. Variabel literasi digital mencakup kemampuan keterampilan fungsional dan lanjutan dalam literasi digital, tabungan dan pinjaman digital,keamanan digital, pengelolaan informasi digital, komunkasi dan kolaborasi. Variabel literasi keuangan mencakup pengetahuan Umum tentang Keuangan, Tabungan dan pinjaman, asuransi, investasi. Variabel entrepreneurial creativity mencakup kreativitas, kewaspadaan kewirausahaan, kepribadian proaktif, ketetapan hati untuk inovasi, kepemimpinan diri dan efikasi diri. Perilaku keuangan mencakup pembayaran tagihan tepat waktu, pembuatan anggaran untuk pengeluaran dan pencatatan pengeluaran dan pembelian, penyediaan dana tak terduga, alokasi tabungan reguler dan perbandingan harga sebelum membeli.
