Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji pengaruh literasi keuangan, digital payment, dan self control terhadap perilaku konsumtif. Pengumpulan data dilakukan di Universitas Negeri Jakarta pada mahasiswa tingkat sarjana Fakultas Ekonomi dan Bisnis Universitas Negeri Jakarta. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kuantitatif dengan menggunakan teknik proportional random sampling. Total responden dalam penelitian ini adalah 246 responden. Instrumen penelitian menggunakan kuisioner. Teknik analisis data menggunakan uji regresi linear berganda, uji T, uji F, dan uji koefisien determinasi. Hasil yang didapat dalam penelitian menunjukkan bahwa literasi keuangan berpengaruh negatif dan signifikan terhadap perilaku konsumtif, digital payment berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap perilaku konsumtif, self control berpengaruh negatif dan signifikan terhadap perilaku konsumtif, serta literasi keuangan, digital payment, dan self control secara simultan berpengaruh signifikan terhadap perilaku konsumtif. Implikasi dari penelitian ini menunjukkan pentingnya peningkatan pemahaman mahasiswa terhadap investasi, kemudahan penggunaan sistem pembayaran digital, serta penguatan kontrol kognitif guna mendukung pengambilan keputusan keuangan. Seiring dengan meningkatnya ketiga aspek tersebut, mahasiswa diharapkan mampu mengelola keuangan secara lebih bertanggung jawab dan mengurangi kecenderungan perilaku konsumtif. Kata Kunci: literasi keuangan, digital payment, self control. ***** This research aims to examine the influence of financial literacy, digital payment, and self-control on consumer behavior. Data collection was conducted at Universitas Negeri Jakarta among undergraduate students of the Faculty of Economics and Business, Universitas Negeri Jakarta. This research is a quantitative study using the proportional random sampling technique. The total number of respondents in this study is 246 respondents. The research instrument used a questionnaire. The data analysis techniques employed multiple linear regression tests, T-tests, F-tests, and coefficient of determination tests. The results obtained in the study indicate that financial literacy has a negative and significant effect on consumer behavior, digital payment has a positive and significant effect on consumer behavior, self-control has a negative and significant effect on consumer behavior, and that financial literacy, digital payment, and self-control simultaneously have a significant effect on consumer behavior. The implications of this research highlight the importance of enhancing students' understanding of investments, the ease of using digital payment systems, and strengthening cognitive control to support financial decision-making. As these three aspects improve, students are expected to manage their finances more responsibly and reduce their tendency towards consumerist behavior.
