Abstract
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengevaluasi secara komprehensif pelaksanaan uji sertifikasi kompetensi peserta didik program keahlian multimedia oleh Lembaga Sertifikasi Profesi Pihak Pertama (LSP-P1) di SMK Negeri 40 Jakarta, menggunakan model evaluasi CIPPO (Context, Input, Process, Product, Outcome). Pendekatan yang digunakan adalah kuantitatif deskriptif dan kualitatif, melibatkan pengumpulan data melalui angket, wawancara, dan observasi dari peserta didik, asesor, serta pemangku kepentingan terkait. Hasil penelitian mengindikasikan bahwa implementasi uji sertifikasi kompetensi di SMK Negeri 40 Jakarta menunjukkan kinerja yang sangat baik secara keseluruhan. Secara spesifik, aspek konteks program sangat relevan dengan kebutuhan industri dan perkembangan teknologi, didukung oleh kualitas input yang optimal meliputi kompetensi asesor, materi uji, sarana prasarana, dan kondisi lingkungan. Proses pelaksanaan uji sertifikasi berlangsung efektif dan efisien, ditandai dengan prosedur terstruktur, pengawasan ketat, penilaian objektif, serta penanganan kendala yang responsif. Produk yang dihasilkan, termasuk tingkat kelulusan dan kredibilitas sertifikat, berkualitas tinggi. Dampak (outcome) program juga signifikan, meningkatkan daya saing lulusan, mutu pendidikan SMK, dan reputasi LSP-P1. Meskipun demikian, penelitian ini mengidentifikasi bahwa masih terdapat ruang untuk perbaikan, terutama dalam hal dokumentasi hasil dan dampak jangka panjang terhadap karir lulusan yang memerlukan investigasi lebih lanjut. Kebaruan penelitian ini terletak pada evaluasi holistik program uji sertifikasi kompetensi menggunakan model CIPPO yang diperluas hingga aspek outcome, memberikan gambaran keberhasilan program secara mendalam dan menyeluruh yang belum banyak diteliti secara spesifik, khususnya terkait sejauh mana uji sertifikasi kompetensi secara konkret meningkatkan daya saing lulusan di pasar kerja. ***** This study aims to comprehensively evaluate the implementation of competency certification tests for multimedia expertise program students by the First Party Professional Certification Institute (LSP-P1) at SMK Negeri 40 Jakarta, utilizing the CIPPO (Context, Input, Process, Product, Outcome) evaluation model. The research employed a descriptive quantitative and qualitative approach, involving data collection through questionnaires, interviews, and observations from students, assessors, and relevant stakeholders. The findings indicate that the implementation of competency certification tests at SMK Negeri 40 Jakarta demonstrates excellent overall performance. Specifically, the program's context is highly relevant to industry needs and technological advancements, supported by optimal input quality, including assessor competency, test materials, infrastructure, and environmental conditions. The certification test process was conducted effectively and efficiently, characterized by structured procedures, stringent supervision, objective assessment, and responsive handling of obstacles. The resulting products, including graduation rates and certificate credibility, are of high quality. The program's outcomes are also significant, enhancing graduate competitiveness, the quality of vocational high school education, and LSP-P1's reputation. Nevertheless, this study identifies areas for improvement, particularly concerning results documentation and the long-term impact on graduates' careers, which warrant further investigation. The originality of this research lies in its holistic evaluation of the competency certification program using the extended CIPPO model to include the outcome aspect, providing an in-depth and comprehensive overview of program success that has not been extensively studied, especially regarding the concrete extent to which competency certification enhances graduate employability in the job market.
