Abstract
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh model pembelajaran CORE (Connecting, Organizing, Reflecting, Extending) terhadap hasil belajar kognitif peserta didik kelas XI pada materi Keanekaragaman Hayati di SMAN 93 Jakarta. Metode yang digunakan adalah eksperimen semu dengan desain nonequivalent pretest-posttest control group. Sampel penelitian terdiri dari dua kelas, yaitu kelas eksperimen yang menggunakan model pembelajaran CORE dan kelas kontrol yang menggunakan model pembelajaran direct instruction, masing-masing berjumlah 30 peserta didik. Instrumen penelitian berupa tes hasil belajar dan angket respon peserta didik. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa nilai rata-rata post-test kelas eksperimen sebesar 82,40, sedangkan kelas kontrol sebesar 73. Berdasarkan uji Independent Sample T-Test diperoleh nilai signifikansi 0,008 < 0,05, yang berarti terdapat pengaruh signifikan model pembelajaran CORE terhadap hasil belajar peserta didik. Selain itu, respon peserta didik terhadap pembelajaran CORE berada pada kategori sangat baik dengan rata-rata persentase 77%. Dengan demikian, model pembelajaran CORE efektif meningkatkan hasil belajar peserta didik pada materi keanekaragaman hayati. Kata kunci: Eksperimen, Kognitif, Pembelajaran ***** This study aims to determine the effect of the CORE (Connecting, Organizing, Reflecting, Extending) learning model on the kognitive learning outcomes of eleventh-grade students in the topic of Biodiversity at SMAN 93 Jakarta. The research employed a quasi-experimental method using a nonequivalent pretest-posttest control group design. The sample consisted of two classes, namely the experimental class using the CORE learning model and the control class using conventional lecture methods, each comprising 30 students. The research instruments included a learning outcomes test and a student response questionnaire. The findings revealed that the post-test average score of the experimental class was 82.40, while that of the control class was 73. Based on the Independent Sample T-Test, a significance value of 0.008 < 0.05 was obtained, indicating a significant effect of the CORE learning model on student learning outcomes. Furthermore, students’ responses to the CORE learning model were categorized as very good, with an average percentage of 77%. Therefore, the CORE learning model is considered effective in improving students’ learning outcomes in the topic of biodiversity. Keywords: Experiment, Learning Outcomes, Cognitive
