Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui perbedaan hasil belajar melalui penggunaan media Ular Tangga Geografi dan Powerpoint pada materi Pengetahuan Dasar Peta, Penginderaan Jauh, dan SIG di SMAN 93 Jakarta. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif dengan pendekatan eksperimen. Desain penelitian ini adalah quasi experimental non-equivalent control group. Pengambilan sampel menggunakan Purposive Sampling. Kelas X3 sebagai kelompok eksperimen yang diberikan perlakuan pemberian media Ular Tangga Geografi. Sedangkan, Kelas X2 sebagai kelompok kontrol. Teknik yang digunakan untuk menganalisis data yaitu uji instrumen, uji prasyarat analisis, dan uji hipotesis. Berdasarkan pengujian, instrumen dinyatakan valid dan reliabel, serta terdistribusi normal dan homogen. Berdasarkan pengujian dua rata-rata (Independent Sample T-Test) memperoleh nilai taraf signifikan sebesar 0,023 yang berarti H0 ditolak dan Ha diterima karena memenuhi kriteria pengujian yaitu nilai Sig. <0.05. Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa terdapat perbedaaan hasil belajar peserta didik melalui penggunaan media Ular Tangga Geografi dan PowerPoint selama proses pembelajaran geografi. Perbedaan tersebut dapat dilihat dari perbandingan perolehan hasil belajar peserta didik di kelas eksperimen dengan rata-rata Pre-test sebesar 52,08 dan Post-Test sebesar 82,08 secara signifikan lebih tinggi dibandingkan dengan perolehan rata-rata PreTest sebesar 53,89 dan post-test sebesar 78,19 di kelas kontrol. Kata Kunci: Media, Pembelajaran, Ular Tangga Geografi, Powerpoint, Hasil Belajar, Peserta Didik ***** This study aims to determine the differences in learning outcomes through the use of Geographic Snakes and Ladders media and Powerpoint on Basic Knowledge of Maps, Remote Sensing, and GIS materials at SMAN 93 Jakarta. This study uses a quantitative method with an experimental approach. The design of this study is a quasi-experimental nonequivalent control group. Sampling using Purposive Sampling Homogene. Class X3 as the experimental group given the treatment of Geographic Snakes and Ladders media. Meanwhile, Class X2 as the control group. The techniques used to analyze the data were instrument testing, analysis prerequisite testing, and hypothesis testing. Based on the testing, the instrument was declared valid and reliable, and normally distributed and homogeneous. Based on the two-average test (Independent Sample T-Test), a significant level value of 0.023 was obtained, which means that H0 was rejected and Ha was accepted because it met the test criteria, namely the Sig. <0.05. This shows that there is a difference in student learning outcomes through the use of Geography Snakes and Ladders media and PowerPpowweroint during the geography learning process. The difference can be seen from the comparison of student learning outcomes in the experimental class with an average Pre-test of 52.08 and Post-test of 82.08 significantly higher than the average Pre-Test of 53.89 and Post-Test of 78.19 in the control class.
