Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan bahan ajar berupa E-Book Fashion Merchandise pada materi Manajemen Retail yang digunakan dalam proses pembelajaran mata kuliah Fashion Merchandise di Program Studi Pendidikan Tata Busana, Universitas Negeri Jakarta. Pengembangan ini dilatarbelakangi oleh kebutuhan mahasiswa terhadap sumber belajar yang interaktif, mudah diakses, serta mampu meningkatkan pemahaman dan hasil belajar pada materi yang bersifat praktis dan aplikatif di industri busana. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode Research and Development (R&D) dengan model pengembangan ADDIE (Analyze, Design, Development, Implementation, dan Evaluation). Penilaian terhadap produk dilakukan oleh panelis ahli berdasarkan pada empat Aspek Kelayakan Bahan Ajar menurut BSNP yaitu kelayakan isi, penyajian, kebahasaan, dan kegrafikan, serta aspek Elemen Multimedia berdasarkan Tay Vaughan yaitu teks, gambar, suara, dan video. Hasil validasi menunjukkan bahwa E-Book Fashion Merchandise pada materi Manajemen Retail dinyatakan Sangat Baik dan memiliki hasil penilaian tertinggi pada aspek kelayakan kebahasaan dan elemen suara. Berdasarkan hasil penilaian keseluruhan E-Book dinyatakan kategori Sangat Baik atau valid dan layak digunakan sebagai bahan ajar interaktif. E-Book ini diharapkan mampu meningkatkan efektivitas pembelajaran dan mendorong kemandirian belajar mahasiswa dalam menghadapi tantangan industri fashion yang dinamis. ***** This study aims to develop instructional materials in the form of a Fashion Merchandise E-Book for the Retail Management topic, used in the learning process of the Fashion Merchandise course within the Fashion Education Study Program at Universitas Negeri Jakarta. This development was motivated by the students’ need for an interactive and accessible learning resource that enhances both understanding and learning outcomes, particularly in practical and industry-applicable content. The study employed a Research and Development (R&D) method using the ADDIE development model (Analyze, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation). The product was assessed by expert panelists based on four aspects of Teaching Material Feasibility according to BSNP, namely content feasibility, presentation, language, and graphical design, as well as Multimedia Elements based on Tay Vaughan, which include text, images, audio, and video. Validation results indicated that the Fashion Merchandise E-Book for the Retail Management topic was rated Excellent, receiving the highest scores in the language feasibility aspect and audio element. Based on the overall evaluation, the E-Book was categorized as Highly Feasible and is suitable for use as an interactive learning resource. This E-Book is expected to improve the effectiveness of the learning process and foster students independent learning in facing the challenges of the dynamic fashion industry.
