Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui efektivitas pendekatan pembelajaran diferensiasi proses terhadap peningkatan motivasi belajar siswa kelas XI pada materi Fiqh. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian eskperimen dengan pendekatan kuantitatif. Desain kuasi-eksperimental (quasy experimental design), yaitu nonequivalent control group design digunakan dalam penelitian ini. Sebanyak 68 siswa terlibat sebagai subjek penelitian dari 2 kelas, antara kelas eksperimen dan kontrol. Data dikumpulkan melalui pre-test, treatment (perlakuan kepada 1 kelas eksperimen),posttest dan wawancara. Teknik analisis data kuantitatif yaitu uji validitas dan reliabilitas dan uji prasyarat analisis menggunakan uji normalitas serta homogenitas. Kemudian untuk menguji hipotesis menggunakan rumus uji n-gain score, uji paired sample test dan Uji Independent t-Test. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan adanya efektivitas dan signifikansi dalam penerapan pendekatan diferensiasi proses, dimana dalam tahap pengetesan menunjukkan rata-rata hasil motivasi belajar di kelas eksperimen yakni 53,75% yang merupakan kategori sedang, dan kelas kontrol yakni -49.83% yang merupakan kategori sangat rendah. Hasil penelitian ini juga bisa dilihat dari hasil pengujian hipotesis, uji N-gain yang menunjukkan bahwa, nilai mean pada N-Gain kelas eksperimen, memiliki nilai 0.5376 dengan presentase 53,75% memiliki efektivitas sedang. Kemudian, pada hasil Uji Paired Sample test, kelas Eksperimen memperoleh nilai One-sided P-value (satu arah) sebesar 0.033 < 0.05, maka H₀ ditolak, dapat disimpulkan bahwa rata-rata kelas eksperimen > rata-rata kelas kontrol. Berdasarkan hasil tersebut, dapat menunjukkan bahwa penerapan pendekatan diferensiasi proses cukup efektif terhadap peningkatan motivasi belajar peserta didik. ***** This study was conducted within the framework of the Islamic Education Study Program at the Faculty of Social Sciences at the University of Jakarta. The objective of this study is to ascertain the efficacy of the differentiated learning approach in enhancing students' learning motivation in Fiqh material in grade XI. The research method employed is an experimental study that utilizes a quantitative approach. A quasi-experimental design, specifically a nonequivalent control group design, was employed in this study. A total of 69 students participated as research subjects from two classes, which were divided into an experimental group and a control group. The data were collected through a series of methods, including pre-tests, treatment (intervention for the experimental group), post-tests, and interviews. Quantitative data analysis techniques included validity and reliability tests, as well as prerequisite analysis using normality and homogeneity tests. In order to test the hypotheses, the n-gain score test, paired sample test, and independent t-test were utilized. The findings of this study suggest that the differentiated process approach is both effective and significant. The testing phase demonstrated an average learning motivation score of 53.75% in the experimental class, which is categorized as moderate, and -49.83% in the control class, which is categorized as very low. The outcomes of this investigation can be discerned from the hypothesis testing results and the N-gain test, which demonstrates that the mean value of the N-Gain in the experimental class is 0.5376 with a percentage of 53.75%, signifying moderate effectiveness. In addition, the results of the Paired Sample Test indicate that the experimental class obtained a one-sided P-value of 0.033, which is less than 0.05. This finding indicates that H0 is rejected, suggesting that the average of the experimental class is greater than the average of the control class. In consideration of the aforementioned results, it can be demonstrated that the implementation of the differentiated learning approach is indeed efficacious in enhancing students' learning motivation.
