Abstract
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh dukungan sosial terhadap stres akademik dimoderasi oleh self-efficacy pada mahasiswa yang sedang menyusun skripsi di Fakultas Psikologi Universitas Negeri Jakarta. Sampel pada penelitian ini ditentukan menggunakan teknik convenience sampling pada 181 mahasiswa Psikologi Universitas Negeri Jakarta yang sedang menyusun skripsi. Tipe penelitian ini adalah kuantitatif dengan metode analisis regresi berganda dan analisis regresi moderasi. Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa dukungan sosial berpengaruh negatif terhadap stres akademik, self-efficacy berpengaruh negatif terhadap stres akademik sedangkan self-efficacy tidak memoderasi pengaruh dukungan sosial terhadap stres akademik. Dengan kata lain, dukungan sosial dan self-efficacy memiliki pengaruh langsung terhadap stres akademik dan self-efficacy tidak berperan sebagai variabel moderator. ***** This study aims to determine the effect of social support on academic stress with self-efficacy as a moderating variable among students who are currently working on their thesis at the Faculty of Psychology, Universitas Negeri Jakarta. The sample in this study was selected using the convenience sampling technique, involving a total of 181 psychology students from Universitas Negeri Jakarta who are in the process of writing their thesis. This research employed a quantitative approach using multiple regression analysis and moderation regression analysis. The results of this study indicate that social support has a negative effect on academic stress, and self-efficacy also has a negative effect on academic stress. However, self-efficacy does not moderate the effect of social support on academic stress. In other words, social support and self-efficacy have a direct influence on academic stress, and self-efficacy does not serve as a moderating variable.
