Abstract
***** This study aims to examine the effect of career adaptability on work readiness among Indonesian college fresh graduates. Conducted in 2025, the research employed a quantitative approach with a causal design. A total of 190 participants were selected using non-probability sampling with a convenience sampling method. The respondents were bachelor’s degree graduates aged 20–26 who had completed at least one month of internship and had graduated within the past two years. The instruments used were the Career Adapt-Abilities Scale (CAAS) by Savickas & Porfeli (2012) to measure career adaptability, and the Indonesian Work Readiness Scale (IWRS) by Widyastuti et al. (2023), based on Brady’s (2010) theory, to assess work readiness. Data were collected online via questionnaire and analyzed using simple linear regression. The results showed that career adaptability significantly influenced work readiness, with an R² value of 0.087, this suggests that the higher the level of career adaptability, the greater the work readiness of graduates.
