Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa dalam pembelajaran IPA melalui model Problem Posing kelas V SDN Duren Sawit 13. Subjek dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas V-A SDN Duren Sawit 13 sebanyak 25 siswa. Metode yang digunakan adalah Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) dengan model Kemmis dan McTaggart. Setiap siklus meliputi tahap perencanaan, tindakan, observasi, dan refleksi. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui observasi, tes tertulis dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pada siklus I, kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa yang mencapai nilai ≥70 sebesar 72%, dengan tindakan guru sebesar 85% dan aktivitas siswa 80%. Setelah perbaikan di siklus II, terjadi peningkatan yang signifikan, yaitu 88% siswa mencapai nilai ≥70, sementara tindakan guru dan aktivitas siswa mencapai 100%. Peningkatan ini menunjukkan bahwa model Problem Posing efektif dalam mengembangkan kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa kelas V. Oleh sebab itu, guru dapat menjadikan ini sebagai salah satu alternatif dalam proses pembelajaran untuk dapat membuat siswa aktif dalam mengembangkan kemampuan berpikir kritis. **** This study aims to improve students' critical thinking abilities in science learning through the Problem Posing model of class V of SDN Duren Sawit 13. The subjects in this study were 25 students of class V-A of SDN Duren Sawit 13. The method used is Classroom Action Research (CAR) with the Kemmis and McTaggart model. Each cycle includes the stages of planning, action, observation, and reflection. Data collection techniques are carried out through observation, written tests and documentation. The results of the study showed that in cycle I, students' critical thinking abilities that achieved a score of ≥70 were 72%, with teacher actions of 85% and student activities of 80%. After the improvement in cycle II, there was a significant increase, namely 88% of students achieved a score of ≥70, while teacher actions and student activities reached 100%. This increase shows that the Problem Posing model is effective in developing critical thinking skills of fifth grade students. Therefore, teachers can make this an alternative in the learning process to be able to make students active in developing critical thinking skills.
