Abstract
Masalah lingkungan yang semakin kompleks menuntut adanya pendekatan pendidikan yang tidak hanya menekankan aspek pengetahuan, tetapi juga pembentukan sikap dan perilaku ramah lingkungan sejak usia sekolah. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh penggunaan media PowerPoint berbentuk flipbook terhadap perilaku ramah lingkungan siswa. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan desain pretest-posttest control group design. Subjek penelitian adalah siswa kelas X di SMA Negeri 22 Jakarta, yang terbagi menjadi dua kelas: kelas eksperimen (menggunakan media PowerPoint berbentuk flipbook) dan kelas kontrol (menggunakan media PowerPoint). Instrumen penelitian berupa angket perilaku ramah lingkungan yang telah diuji validitas dan reliabilitasnya. Teknik analisis data mencakup uji normalitas, uji homogenitas, normalized gain, uji independent sample t-test, serta uji effect size menggunakan rumus Cohen’s d. Hasil uji normalitas menunjukkan bahwa data berdistribusi normal, dan uji homogenitas menunjukkan bahwa varians antar kelompok adalah homogen. Dimensi perilaku ramah lingkungan yang mengalami peningkatan tertinggi adalah recycling vicarious dan transportation and mobility, sementara consumerism menunjukkan peningkatan paling rendah. Rata-rata gain score dan N-Gain kelas eksperimen juga lebih tinggi dibandingkan kelas kontrol, dengan nilai N-Gain sebesar 0,33 (kategori sedang) untuk kelas kontrol dan 0,64 (kategori sedang) untuk kelas eksperimen. Hasil uji independent sample t-test menunjukkan adanya perbedaan antara kelas eksperimen dan kelas kontrol, dengan nilai signifikansi < 0,05. Selain itu, hasil uji effect size menunjukkan nilai Cohen’s d sebesar 3,07 yang termasuk dalam kategori pengaruh sangat besar. Hal ini menegaskan bahwa penggunaan media PowerPoint berbentuk flipbook memberikan pengaruh yang sangat kuat terhadap peningkatan perilaku ramah lingkungan siswa. Penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa media pembelajaran berbasis visual interaktif seperti media PowerPoint berbentuk flipbook mampu menjadi alternatif yang efektif untuk meningkatkan perilaku ramah lingkungan siswa. This study aims to determine the effect of using PowerPoint-based flipbook media on students’ environmentally friendly behavior. This research employed a quantitative approach with a pretest-posttest control group design. The research subjects were tenth-grade students at SMA Negeri 22 Jakarta, divided into two classes: an experimental class (using PowerPoint-based flipbook media) and a control class (using conventional PowerPoint). The research instrument was a questionnaire on environmentally friendly behavior that had been tested for validity and reliability. Data analysis techniques included normality test, homogeneity test, normalized gain, independent sample t-test, and effect size test using Cohen’s d formula. The results of the normality test showed that the data were normally distributed, and the homogeneity test indicated that the variances between the groups were homogeneous. The environmental behavior dimensions that showed the highest improvement were recycling vicarious and transportation and mobility, while consumerism showed the lowest increase. The average gain score and N-Gain in the experimental class were also higher than those in the control class, with an N-Gain value of 0.33 (moderate category) for the control class and 0.64 (moderate category) for the experimental class. The results of the independent sample t-test showed a significant difference between the experimental and control classes, with a significance value of < 0.05. In addition, the effect size test showed a Cohen’s d value of 3.07, which falls into the very large effect category. This confirms that the use of PowerPoint-based flipbook media has a very strong influence on improving students' environmentally friendly behavior. This study indicates that visual and interactive learning media such as PowerPoint-based flipbooks can be an effective alternative to improve students’ environmentally friendly behavior.
