Abstract
Kesiapan belajar anak usia dini merupakan faktor krusial dalam menentukan keberhasilan mereka di jenjang pendidikan selanjutnya. Salah satu aspek utama yang memengaruhi kesiapan belajar adalah kemampuan berbahasa, khususnya keterampilan berbicara. Anak yang mampu mengekspresikan pikiran dan perasaannya secara verbal cenderung lebih mudah memahami instruksi, berinteraksi dengan lingkungan sosial, serta menunjukkan partisipasi aktif dalam proses pembelajaran. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji hubungan antara pengembangan bahasa dan kesiapan belajar anak usia 5–6 tahun melalui pendekatan studi literatur. Sebanyak sepuluh artikel ilmiah nasional dan internasional terbitan tahun 2018 hingga 2025 dianalisis secara kualitatif. Hasil studi menunjukkan bahwa strategi pembelajaran seperti metode bercerita, penggunaan media visual seperti ritatoon dan boneka tangan, serta keterlibatan orang tua secara aktif memiliki dampak positif terhadap perkembangan keterampilan berbicara anak. Temuan ini menegaskan bahwa pengembangan bahasa khususnya kemampuan bicara yang dilakukan secara sistematis dan menyenangkan sejak usia dini dapat meningkatkan kesiapan belajar anak dalam menghadapi dunia sekolah yang lebih kompleks. ***** Learning readiness in early childhood is a critical factor that influences children's success in later stages of education. One of the key aspects that affects learning readiness is language ability, particularly speaking skills. Children who are able to express their thoughts and feelings verbally tend to better understand instructions, interact socially, and actively participate in learning activities. This study aims to examine the relationship between language development and learning readiness in children aged 5–6 years through a literature review approach. A total of ten national and international scholarly articles published between 2018 and 2025 were analyzed using qualitative methods. The results show that instructional strategies such as storytelling methods, the use of visual media like ritatoon and hand puppets, as well as active parental involvement, positively influence the development of children's speaking abilities. These findings highlight that systematic and engaging language development especially speaking skills at an early age can enhance children’s learning readiness as they transition into formal schooling.
