Abstract
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan implementasi pendidikan karakter dengan pendekatan deep learning di lingkungan sekolah dan kelas IV-A SDN Cipayung 01. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan pendekatan deskriptif. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Sedangkan teknik analisis data menggunakan model Miles dan Huberman yang dilakukan melalui tiga langkah yaitu reduksi data (data reduction), penyajian data (data display), dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pendekatan deep learning diterapkan melalui tiga prinsip utama, yaitu mindful, meaningful, dan joyful learning. Implementasi prinsip tersebut tampak dalam kegiatan pembiasaan di sekolah seperti salat berjamaah, senam bersama, dan upacara bendera, serta dalam pembelajaran di kelas yang melibatkan siswa secara aktif dan menggembirakan. Penerapan ketiga prinsip ini terbukti dapat memperkuat nilai-nilai karakter siswa seperti religius, kemandirian, dan gotong royong. Penelitian ini merekomendasikan agar guru dan sekolah terus mengembangkan pendekatan deep learning dalam pembelajaran untuk membentuk karakter siswa secara lebih mendalam dan berkelanjutan. *** This study aims to describe the implementation of character education using a deep learning approach in the environment and Grade IV-A class of SDN Cipayung 01. The research employed a qualitative method with a descriptive approach. Data were collected through observation, interviews, and documentation. The data analysis technique follows the Miles and Huberman model, involving three steps: data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing. The findings indicate that the deep learning approach is applied through three main principles: mindful, meaningful, and joyful learning. These principles are reflected in habitual activities at school such as congregational prayers, group exercises, and flag ceremonies, as well as in classroom learning that actively involves students in a fun and engaging manner. The implementation of these principles effectively strengthens students' character values such as responsibility, independence, collaboration, and integrity. This study recommends that teachers and schools continue to develop deep learning approaches in classroom practices to foster deeper and more sustainable character development among students.
