Abstract

Penelitian ini membahas masalah mendasar dalam menanamkan disiplin pada siswa sekolah dasar yang merupakan fondasi penting untuk pembentukan karakter. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mendeskripsikan sikap disiplin siswa kelas IV di SDN Pondok Betung 01 dan untuk menganalisis peran multifaset guru dalam membentuk perilaku ini. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif kualitatif, dengan data yang dikumpulkan melalui observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi yang melibatkan kepala sekolah, guru, siswa, dan orang tua. Analisis data dilakukan dengan menggunakan model Miles dan Huberman yang meliputi reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan/verifikasi kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa sikap disiplin siswa telah terbentuk dengan baik dan telah menjadi budaya yang terinternalisasi. Hal ini ditunjukkan melalui ketaatan yang konsisten terhadap peraturan sekolah dan kelas, ketepatan waktu, penyelesaian tugas yang tepat waktu, dan rasa tanggung jawab kolektif untuk menjaga ketertiban. Keberhasilan ini sebagian besar disebabkan oleh peran holistik guru sebagai perencana, teladan, penasihat, fasilitator kebiasaan di seluruh sekolah, dan evaluator yang memberikan sistem konsekuensi pendidikan dan penguatan positif yang seimbang. Studi ini menyimpulkan bahwa penerapan disiplin yang efektif adalah hasil dari ekosistem sinergis yang menggabungkan kebijakan sekolah, implementasi guru yang konsisten, dan dukungan orang tua. ***** This research addresses the fundamental problem of instilling discipline in elementary school students, which is a crucial foundation for character building. This study aims to describe the disciplinary attitudes of fourth-grade students at SDN Pondok Betung 01 and to analyze the teacher's multifaceted role in shaping these behaviors. The research employs a qualitative descriptive method, with data collected through observation, interviews, and documentation involving the principal, teachers, students, and parents. Data analysis was conducted using the Miles and Huberman model, which includes data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing/verification. The results indicate that the disciplinary attitude of the students is well-established and has become an internalized culture. This is demonstrated through consistent adherence to school and class rules, punctuality, timely completion of tasks, and a collective sense of responsibility for maintaining order. This success is largely attributed to the teacher's holistic role as a planner, role model, advisor, facilitator of school-wide habits, and an evaluator who provides a balanced system of educational consequences and positive reinforcement. The study concludes that the effective implementation of discipline is the result of a synergistic ecosystem combining school policies, consistent teacher implementation, and parental support.
