Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh penerapan model Problem Based Learning (PBL) dan Concept Mapping terhadap keterampilan berpikir kritis peserta didik ditinjau dari Self Regulated Learning (SRL) dalam pembelajaran IPAS di sekolah dasar. Penelitian dilaksanakan di salah satu sekolah dasar negeri di Jakarta dengan sampel sebanyak 120 siswa kelas V yang dibagi ke dalam dua kelompok, yaitu kelompok eksperimen dengan model PBL dan kelompok eksperimen dengan model Concept Mapping. Metode yang digunakan adalah eksperimen semu dengan desain treatment by level 2x2. Instrumen penelitian terdiri dari tes keterampilan berpikir kritis dan angket SRL. Analisis data dilakukan menggunakan uji ANOVA dua jalur dengan bantuan perangkat lunak SPSS 27. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: 1) terdapat perbedaan keterampilan berpikir kritis yang signifikan antara peserta didik yang menggunakan model PBL dan Concept Mapping, dengan nilai signifikansi 0,035 (p-value 0,035 < 0,050); 2) terdapat interaksi antara model pembelajaran dan tingkat SRL terhadap keterampilan berpikir kritis peserta didik, dengan nilai signifikansi 0,000 (p-value 0,000 < 0,050); 3) peserta didik dengan SRL tinggi menunjukkan keterampilan berpikir kritis yang lebih tinggi saat menggunakan model PBL dibandingkan dengan Concept Mapping, dengan nilai mean difference 16,45 dan signifikansi 0,000; 4) peserta didik dengan SRL rendah menunjukkan hasil lebih baik pada model Concept Mapping dibandingkan model PBL, dengan nilai mean difference 8,92 dan signifikansi 0,000 (p-value 0,000 < 0,050). ***** This study aims to determine the influence of the application of the Problem Based Learning (PBL) and Concept Mapping models on students' critical thinking skills in terms of Self Regulated Learning (SRL) in IPAS (Science and Social Science Integration) learning in elementary school. The research was conducted at a public elementary school in Jakarta, with a sample of 120 fifth grade students divided into two groups: one experimental group using the PBL model and another experimental group using the Concept Mapping model. The research method used was a quasi experiment with a 2x2 treatment by level design. The instruments used were a critical thinking skills test and an SRL questionnaire. Data were analyzed using two-way ANOVA with the assistance of SPSS version 27. The results of the study show that: 1) there is a significant difference in critical thinking skills between students using the PBL model and those using the Concept Mapping model, with a significance value of 0.035 (p-value 0.035 < 0.050); 2) there is an interaction between the learning model and SRL level on students' critical thinking skills, with a significance value of 0.000 (p-value 0.000 < 0.050); 3) students with high SRL showed higher critical thinking skills using the PBL model compared to the Concept Mapping model, with a mean difference of 16.45 and a significance of 0.000; 4) students with low SRL performed better with the Concept Mapping model than with the PBL model, with a mean difference of 8.92 and a significance of 0.000 (p-value 0.000 < 0.050).
