Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kemampuan motorik halus anak dengan keterbatasan fisik (anak CP) melalui penerapan media permainan maze berbasis pembelajaran kontekstual di YPAC Jakarta. Studi ini dilatarbelakangi oleh rendahnya perkembangan motorik halus pada anak CP, khususnya dalam kemampuan menggenggam, meregangkan, dan memegang pensil saat melakukan aktivitas tulis-menulis atau mewarnai. Pendekatan yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) dengan desain kolaboratif yang terdiri atas empat siklus: perencanaan, pelaksanaan, observasi, dan refleksi. Subjek penelitian melibatkan lima anak CP usia 5–8 tahun yang memiliki gangguan gerak pada tangan dan keterlambatan perkembangan motorik halus. Intervensi dilakukan melalui kegiatan pembelajaran harian menggunakan lembaran kegiatan maze bertema kontekstual (seperti astronot, pelaut, hewan, dan keluarga) yang dirancang secara bertahap sesuai dengan tahap perkembangan anak. Kegiatan inti meliputi pengamatan alur labirin, bimbingan langsung oleh guru dalam menggenggam dan mengarahkan pensil, serta pelatihan koordinasi mata-tangan secara bertahap. Data dikumpulkan melalui observasi langsung, lembar penilaian, catatan lapangan, dan wawancara, kemudian dianalisis secara kualitatif dengan teknik triangulasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penerapan media maze secara signifikan meningkatkan kemampuan motorik halus anak CP, terutama dalam aspek menggenggam pensil, koordinasi jemari, dan konsentrasi selama kegiatan belajar. Peningkatan terlihat dari siklus ke siklus, dibuktikan dengan peningkatan persentase ketercapaian indikator pada setiap aspek motorik halus. Selain itu, anak menunjukkan motivasi belajar yang lebih tinggi dan partisipasi aktif selama kegiatan. Dengan demikian, media maze terbukti efektif sebagai alat intervensi pembelajaran untuk meningkatkan kemandirian dan keterampilan motorik halus anak CP dalam konteks pendidikan inklusif. ****** This study aims to improve the fine motor skills of children with physical limitations (children with CP) through the implementation of maze game media based on contextual learning at YPAC Jakarta. The study is motivated by the low development of fine motor abilities in children with CP, particularly in gripping, stretching, and holding a pencil during writing or coloring activities. The approach used in this research is Classroom Action Research (PTK) with a collaborative design consisting of four cycles: planning, implementation, observation, and reflection. The research subjects involved five children with CP aged 5–8 years who experienced movement disorders in their hands and delays in fine motor abilities development. The intervention was carried out through daily learning activities using contextual-themed maze activity sheets (such as astronauts, sailors, animals, and family) that were gradually designed according to the children’s developmental stages. The core activities included observing maze paths, direct guidance from the teacher in gripping and directing the pencil, and gradual training in hand-eye coordination. Data were collected through direct observation, assessment sheets, field notes, and interviews, and were analyzed qualitatively using triangulation techniques. The results show that the use of maze media significantly improved the fine motor abilities of children with CP, especially in aspects such as pencil grip, finger coordination, and concentration during learning activities. Improvements were observed across cycles, as evidenced by the increasing percentage of indicator achievement in each aspect of fine motor skills. In addition, the children demonstrated higher learning motivation and active participation during the activities. Therefore, the maze media proved effective as an intervention tool for learning to enhance the independence and fine motor abilites of children with CP in the context of inclusive education.
