Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kemampuan mengenal bilangan bagi peserta didik hambatan intelektual ringan kelas V di SLBN 12 Jakarta melalui metode bermain dan media pancing angka. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode PTK (Penelitian Tindakan Kelas) dengan model Kemmis dan McTaggart. Penelitian dilaksanakan sebanyak dua siklus dengan lima pertemuan setiap siklusnya. Subjek dalam penelitian ini merupakan lima peserta didik dengan hambatan intelektual ringan kelas V SLBN 12 Jakarta yang sebelumnya telah memiliki kemampuan awal dalam mengenal bilangan. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan cara melalui tes lisan dan observasi, sedangkan analisis data dilakukan secara kualitatif dan kuantitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan adanya peningkatan kemampuan mengenal bilangan setelah penerapan metode bermain yang didukung oleh media pancing angka. Hal ini dibuktikan dengan peningkatan rata-rata nilai dari tahap awal sebesar 30, meningkat menjadi 65 pada siklus I, dan mencapai 92 pada siklus II. Metode bermain dan media pancing angka terbukti efektif dalam membantu peserta didik mengenal bilangan, baik dalam aspek membilang, menyebutkan, maupun menunjukkan bilangan. Kata kunci: Bilangan, Metode Bermain, Media Pancing Angka, Peserta Didik Hambatan Intelektual Ringan, Penelitian Tindakan Kelas ***** This study aims to improve the ability to recognize numbers for students with mild intellectual disabilities in grade V at SLBN 12 Jakarta through the method of playing and number fishing media. This study used the PTK (Classroom Action Research) method with the Kemmis and McTaggart model. The study was conducted in two cycles with five meetings each cycle. The subjects in this study were five students with mild intellectual disabilities in grade V at SLBN 12 Jakarta who previously had initial abilities in recognizing numbers. Data collection was carried out through oral tests and observations, while data analysis was carried out qualitatively and quantitatively. The results of the study showed an increase in the ability to recognize numbers after the application of the playing method supported by number fishing media. This is evidenced by an increase in the average score from the initial stage of 30, increasing to 65 in cycle I, and reaching 92 in cycle II. The method of playing and number fishing media has proven effective in helping students recognize numbers, both in the aspects of counting, stating, and showing numbers.
