Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kemampuan mengenal kancing melalui metode pembelajaran langsung dan media quiet book bagi peserta didik kelas IV dengan hambatan intelektual ringan di SLB Negeri 11 Jakarta. SLB Negeri 11 Jakarta dipilih oleh peneliti sebagai Penelitian Tindakan Kelas. Desain penelitian model spiral Kemmis dan Taggart berupa perencanaan , tindakan dan pengamatan serta refleksi. Penelitian memiliki 2 siklus , pada siklus pertama ada 5 pertemuan dan siklus kedua ada 3 pertemuan. Pemberian materi pembelajaran di siklus ke-1 (pertemuan ke-1 s/d pertemuan ke-3) , 1 pertemuan untuk mengulang materi pembelajaran (pertemuan ke-4), dan terakhir 1 pertemuan untuk evaluasi yaitu pertemuan ke-5. Karena di siklus ke-1 belum mencapai nilai yang ditargetkan sehingga melanjutkan di siklus ke-2 dengan 2 pertemuan untuk mengulang materi pembelajaran (pertemuan ke-1 & pertemuan ke-2, dan terakhir 1 pertemuan untuk evaluasi yaitu pertemuan ke-3. Subjek yang dipilih adalah peserta didik kelas IV dengan hambatan intelektual ringan di SLB Negeri 11 Jakarta yang mengikuti kegiatan pembelajaran program khusus Bina diri. Pengumpulan data menggunakan tes dan observasi. Metode analisis yang digunakan adalah deskriptif kualitatif dan kuantitatif. Prosentase nilai rata-rata yang ditargetkan adalah 60% , pada pra siklus nilai rata-rata adalah 44% menunjukkan belum tercapai dari prosentase nilai rata-rata yang ditargetkan, pada siklus I meningkat menjadi 55,6% menunjukkan belum tercapai prosentase nilai rata-rata yang ditargetkan, pada siklus II prosentase nilai rata-rata meningkat menjadi 80,6% menunjukkan prosentase nilai rata-rata diatas dari Prosentase nilai rata-rata yang ditargetkan. Maka dapat disimpulkan metode pembelajaran langsung dan media quite book dapat meningkatkan kemampuan mengenal kancing. ***** This study aims to improve the ability to recognize buttons through direct learning methods and quiet book media for fourth grade students with mild intellectual disabilities at SLB Negeri 11 Jakarta. was chosen by the researcher as a Classroom Action Research. The research design of the Kemmis and Taggart spiral model is in the form of planning, action and observation and reflection. The study has 2 cycles, in the first cycle there are 5 meetings and the second cycle there are 3 meetings. The provision of learning materials in the 1st cycle (1st meeting to 3rd meeting), 1 meeting to repeat the learning material (4th meeting), and finally 1 meeting for evaluation, namely the 5th meeting. Because in the 1st cycle it has not reached the targeted value so it continues in the 2nd cycle with 2 meetings to repeat the learning material (1st meeting & 2nd meeting, and finally 1 meeting for evaluation, namely the 3rd meeting. The subjects selected were fourth grade students with mild intellectual disabilities at SLB Negeri 11 Jakarta who participated in the special Bina Diri program learning activities. Data collection used tests and observations. The analysis method used was descriptive qualitative and quantitative. The percentage of the targeted average value was 60%, in the pre-cycle the average value was 44% indicating that the percentage of the targeted average value had not been achieved, in cycle I it increased to 55.6% indicating that the percentage of the targeted average value had not been achieved, in cycle II the percentage of the average value increased to 80.6% indicating the percentage of the average value above the percentage of the targeted average value. So it can be concluded that the direct learning method and quite book media can improve the ability to recognize buttons.
