Abstract
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan media flipbook materi kuliner Jepang pada mata kuliah Makanan Asia sebagai literasi digital. Proses pengembangan menerapkan metode Research and Development (R&D) dengan model pengembangan 4D, yang terdiri atas tahap pendefinisian (Define), perancangan (Design), pengembangan (Develop), penyebaran (Disseminate). Hasil pengembangan berupa media pembelajaran Flipbook yang dikembangkan menggunakan aplikasi Canva, yang memuat materi kuliner Jepang secara sistematis dilengkapi dengan berbagai media pendukung. Analisis data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan teknik deskriptif kualitatif. Media flipbook divalidasi oleh ahli materi, ahli media, dan ahli bahasa dengan hasil persentase kelayakan masing-masing sebesar 91% pada aspek materi, 96% pada aspek media, dan 95% pada aspek bahasa, yang seluruhnya termasuk dalam kategori sangat layak. Media flipbook selanjutnya diuji cobakan kepada mahasiswa Pendidikan Tata Boga dengan hasil persentase penilaian sebesar 92% pada uji one to one, 93% pada uji small group, dan 95% pada uji field test. Hasil perhitungan skor respon mahasiswa terhadap penggunaan media flipbook menunjukkan persentase sebesar 93,5% dengan kategori sangat kuat dan diterima sangat positif. Berdasarkan hasil tersebut, media pembelajaran Flipbook materi kuliner Jepang dinyatakan layak digunakan sebagai media pembelajaran pada mata kuliah Makanan Asia. ***** This study aims to develop a flipbook media on Japanese culinary materials for the Asian Food course as digital literacy. The development process implemented the Research and Development (R&D) method with a 4D development model, consisting of four stages: Define, Design, Develop, and Disseminate. The development results are digital flipbook learning media developed using the Canva software, which contains Japanese culinary material systematically, complete with various supporting media. Data analysis in this study used qualitative descriptive techniques. The flipbook media was validated by experts in the field of material, media, and language, with a feasibility percentage of 91% for the material aspect, 96% for the media aspect, and 95% for the language aspect, all of which were classified as highly feasible. The flipbook media was then tested on Culinary Education students, with assessment percentages of 92% in the one-to-one test, 93% in the small group test, and 95% in the field test. The student response score for the use of flipbook media was 93.5%, which is categorized as very strong and very positively received. Based on these results, the digital flipbook learning media for Japanese culinary material is considered suitable for use as learning media in the Asian Food course.
