Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh rendahnya pemahaman peserta didik kelas XI SMAN 68 Jakarta terhadap materi Peta pada mata pelajaran Geografi. Rendahnya pemahaman ini teridentifikasi dari hasil tes diagnostik awal yang menunjukkan 96,61% peserta didik belum mencapai Kriteria Ketuntasan Minimal, serta adanya keterbatasan media pembelajaran yang inovatif dan mendalam. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengembangkan dan menghasilkan sebuah produk media pembelajaran berbasis motion graphic video yang valid dan layak digunakan untuk materi Peta. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah Penelitian dan Pengembangan (R&D) dengan mengadaptasi model desain instruksional Dick and Carey. Prosedur pengembangan media ini meliputi sepuluh tahapan, mulai dari identifikasi tujuan hingga evaluasi sumatif. Subjek penelitian untuk validasi melibatkan ahli materi (guru Geografi SMAN 68 Jakarta), ahli media (dosen Teknologi Pendidikan UNJ), dan pengguna (peserta didik kelas XI.5 SMAN 68 Jakarta). Teknik pengumpulan data utama adalah angket dengan skala Likert , yang kemudian dianalisis menggunakan metode deskriptif kuantitatif untuk menentukan persentase kelayakan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa media pembelajaran yang dikembangkan memenuhi kriteria kelayakan. Berdasarkan penilaian validasi, diperoleh hasil sebagai berikut: (1) validasi ahli materi mendapatkan persentase skor 90% dengan kriteria ‘Sangat Layak’; (2) validasi ahli media memperoleh 76% dengan kriteria ‘Cukup Layak’; dan (3) validasi pengguna oleh peserta didik memperoleh 83% dengan kriteria ‘Cukup Layak’. Berdasarkan keseluruhan hasil validasi tersebut, dapat disimpulkan bahwa media pembelajaran berbasis motion graphic video pada materi Peta ini telah berhasil dikembangkan dan dinyatakan layak untuk digunakan sebagai salah satu sumber belajar dalam proses pembelajaran Geografi di kelas XI. ***** This study was motivated by the low level of understanding of Grade XI students at SMAN 68 Jakarta regarding map material in geography lessons. This low level of understanding was identified from the results of an initial diagnostic test, which showed that 96.61% of students had not achieved the minimum passing grade, as well as the limited availability of innovative and in-depth learning media. The purpose of this study is to develop and produce a valid and usable motion graphic video-based learning media product for map material. The research method used is Research and Development (R&D) by adapting the Dick and Carey instructional design model. The media development procedure consists of ten stages, from identifying objectives to summative evaluation. The research subjects for validation included subject matter experts (Geography teachers at SMAN 68 Jakarta), media experts (lecturers in Educational Technology at UNJ), and users (students in class XI.5 at SMAN 68 Jakarta). The primary data collection technique was a questionnaire using a Likert scale, which was then analyzed using quantitative descriptive methods to determine the percentage of usability. The research results indicate that the developed learning media meets the feasibility criteria. Based on the validation assessment, the following results were obtained: (1) subject matter expert validation achieved a score of 90% with the criterion of ‘Highly Feasible’; (2) media expert validation achieved 76% with the criterion of ‘Sufficiently Feasible’; and (3) user validation by students achieved 83% with the criterion of ‘Sufficiently Feasible’. Based on the overall validation results, it can be concluded that the motion graphic video-based learning media for the Map material has been successfully developed and is deemed suitable for use as one of the learning resources in the Geography learning process for Grade XI students.
