Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memperoleh penilaian secara estetika pada produk vest dengan teknik circle quit block dari sisa hasil produksi. Desain vest terinspirasi dari streetwear Generasi Z yang mengacu pada Indonesia Trendforecasting 2025/2026 sub tema Avant Garde Aphaty. Metode penelitian ini menggunakan deskriptif kuantitatif dengan desain penelitian pre-experimental design, one shot case study. Penelitian ini terdiri dari 5 produk vest yang dibuat menggunakan teknik circle quit block dan nantinya akan dinilai secara estetika oleh 5 panelis ahli dengan instrumen berupa kuesioner/angket campuran, skala yang digunakan yaitu rating scale dengan range nilai antara 1-4 (Sangat Tidak Baik – Sangat Baik). Instrumen penelitian terdiri dari 20 butir pernyataan yang dibuat sesuai dengan aspek estetika menurut teori A.A.M. Djelantik (1999) yang terdiri dari aspek wujud atau rupa (sub aspek warna, bentuk, ukuran, tekstur, harmoni, irama, proporsi dan keseimbangan), bobot atau isi (gagasan atau ide) dan penyajian atau penampilan (sub aspek sarana dan media). Berdasarkan aspek wujud atau rupa seluruh produk mendapatkan nilai 95.8% yang termasuk kedalam kategori sangat baik. Berdasarkan aspek bobot atau isi yang terdiri dari sub aspek gagasan atau ide mendapatkan total nilai 97% dan termasuk kedalam kategori sangat baik. Berdasarkan aspek penyajian atau penampilan yang terdiri dari sub aspek sarana dan media mendapatkan nilai 96% dengan kategori sangat baik. Secara keseluruhan, kelima produk mendapatkan hasil akhir 96.05% dan termasuk ke dalam kategori sangat baik. Dari kelima produk, penilaian tertinggi diperoleh oleh desain 1 dan penilaian terendah diperoleh oleh desain 2. ***** This study aims to obtain an aesthetic evaluation of vest products created using the circle quit block technique from production waste materials. The vest designs are inspired by Generation Z streetwear, referring to the Indonesia Trend Forecasting 2025/2026 under the sub-theme Avant Garde Apathy. This research employs a quantitative descriptive method with a pre-experimental research design, specifically a one-shot case study. The study consists of five vest products made using the circle quit block technique, which were aesthetically evaluated by five expert panelists. The assessment instrument was a mixed questionnaire, using a rating scale ranging from 1 to 4 (Very Poor – Very Good). The research instrument comprised 20 statement items developed according to aesthetic aspects based on A.A.M. Djelantik’s theory (1999), which includes the aspects of form or appearance (sub-aspects of color, shape, size, texture, harmony, rhythm, proportion, and balance), content or meaning (idea or concept), and presentation or performance (sub-aspects of tools and media). Based on the aspect of form or appearance, all products achieved a score of 95.8%, which falls into the very good category. The aspect of content or meaning, consisting of the idea or concept sub-aspect, obtained a total score of 97% and was also categorized as very good. The presentation or performance aspect, which includes tools and media, received a score of 96%, classified as very good. Overall, the five products achieved a final score of 96.05%, placing them in the very good category. Among the five designs, Design 1 received the highest evaluation score, while Design 2 received the lowest.
