Abstract
Permasalahan utama pada riasan wajah cikatri adalah karakteristik kulit yang tidak merata sehingga memerlukan teknik pengaplikasian foundation yang tepat, khususnya melalui metode layering. Hingga saat ini belum ditemukan buku panduan yang secara khusus membahas teknik layering pada tata rias wajah cikatri. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengembangkan buku panduan teknik layering dalam pengaplikasian foundation yang layak dan praktis digunakan oleh perias pemula maupun profesional. Buku ini diharapkan dapat menjadi sumber informasi yang aplikatif serta membantu perias dalam mengatasi tantangan merias kelainan kulit pada rias wajah cikatri. Pengembangan produk menggunakan metode Research and Development (R&D) dengan model 4D yang meliputi tahap Define (definisi), Design (desain), Develop (pengembangan), serta Disseminate (penyebaran). Hasil validasi menunjukkan tingkat kelayakan yang sangat baik, yaitu ahli materi I sebesar 90%, ahli materi II 96,2%, dan ahli media 94,7%. Uji coba one-to-one memperoleh hasil 91,6%, sedangkan uji coba small group mencapai 95,6%. Dengan demikian, buku panduan teknik layering dalam pengaplikasian foundation pada tata rias wajah cikatri dinyatakan “Sangat Layak” dan “Sangat Praktis” digunakan sebagai sumber pembelajaran maupun pendukung praktik rias. Kata Kunci : Layering, Foundation, Tata Rias Wajah Cikatri, Buku Panduan, Model 4D. ***** The main problem in cicatricial facial makeup lies in the uneven skin texture, which requires the correct application technique of foundation, particularly through the layering method. To date, no guidebook specifically discusses layering techniques for cicatricial facial makeup. This study aims to develop a guidebook on layering techniques in applying foundation that is both feasible and practical for beginner and professional makeup artists. The guidebook is expected to serve as an applicable source of information and assist makeup artists in overcoming challenges associated with cicatricial skin conditions. The product development employed the Research and Development (R&D) method using the 4D model, consisting of the Define, Design, Develop, and Disseminate stages. Validation results show excellent feasibility, with the first material expert scoring 90%, the second material expert 96.2%, and the media expert 94.7%. The one-to-one trial achieved 91.6%, while the small group trial reached 95.6%. Therefore, the guidebook on layering techniques in applying foundation to cicatricial facial makeup is categorized as “Highly Feasible” and “Highly Practical” for use as a learning resource and a supporting tool in makeup practice.
