Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis implementasi strategi guru dalam pembelajaran berdiferensiasi pada mata pelajaran IPS di SMP Negeri 252 Jakarta. Penelitian ini berfokus pada strategi guru dalam melakukan pendekatan pembelajaran berdiferensiasi, diferensiasi konten, proses, dan produk, serta penyesuaian pembelajaran berdiferensiasi terhadap karakteristik mata pelajaran IPS. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian deskriptif dengan pendekatan kualitatif. Subjek penelitian adalah guru-guru IPS di SMP Negeri 252 Jakarta. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui wawancara, observasi, dan dokumentasi. Analisis data dilakukan melalui tahap reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa guru telah mengimplementasikan strategi dengan cara diferensiasi konten, proses, dan produk dalam pembelajaran IPS secara fleksibel sesuai dengan kemampuan dan karakteristik peserta didik. Diferensiasi konten dalam mata pelajaran IPS dilakukan dengan cara menyesuaikan materi pembelajaran (apa yang diajarkan) atau cara peserta didik mengakses materi tersebut berdasarkan kesiapan, minat, dan profil belajar mereka. Diferensiasi proses sendiri dilihat dari variasi aktivitas pembelajaran yang diberikan kepada peserta didik sesuai dengan kondisi peserta didik di kelas selama pembelajaran IPS berlangsung. Sedangkan diferensiasi produk ialah asil akhir yang memungkinkan siswa menunjukkan apa yang telah mereka pelajari setelah mengikuti proses pembelajaran. Pembelajaran berdiferensiasi juga dinilai sesuai dengan karakteristik mata pelajaran IPS yang bersifat kontekstual dan dekat dengan kehidupan peserta didik, sehingga membantu peserta didik dalam mengaktualisasikan materi IPS dalam kehidupan sehari-hari. Dengan demikian, dapat disimpulkan bahwa guru-guru IPS di SMP Negeri 252 Jakarta telah mengimplementasikan strategi pembelajaran berdiferensiasi dengan diferensiasi konten, diferensiasi proses dan diferensiasi produk untuk membantu menjawab kebutuhan belajar peserta didik dalam mata pelajaran IPS.***** This study aims to analyze the implementation of teacher strategies in differentiated learning in social studies at SMP Negeri 252 Jakarta. This study focuses on teacher strategies in implementing differentiated learning approaches, differentiation of content, process, and product, as well as adapting differentiated learning to the characteristics of social studies. This study uses a descriptive research method with a qualitative approach. The subjects of the study were social studies teachers at SMP Negeri 252 Jakarta. Data collection techniques were carried out through interviews, observation, and documentation. Data analysis was carried out through the stages of data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The results of the study indicate that teachers have implemented strategies by flexibly differentiating content, process, and product in social studies learning according to the abilities and characteristics of students. Content differentiation in social studies is carried out by adjusting the learning material (what is taught) or how students access the material based on their readiness, interests, and learning profiles. Process differentiation itself is seen from the variation of learning activities given to students according to the conditions of students in the class during the social studies learning process. Meanwhile, product differentiation is the final result that allows students to demonstrate what they have learned after participating in the learning process. Differentiated learning is also assessed according to the characteristics of social studies subjects that are contextual and close to the lives of students, thus helping students in actualizing social studies material in everyday life. Thus, it can be concluded that social studies teachers at SMP Negeri 252 Jakarta have implemented differentiated learning strategies with content differentiation, process differentiation and product differentiation to help answer students' learning needs in social studies subjects.
